We have just returned from a stay at the Legoland Windsor Resort Hotel. The rooms were comfortable and we had a lovely visit to the park. We stayed in a Friend's Premium Room and our children enjoyed the treasure hunt. It was a birthday celebration and we did have the VIP birthday upgrade that was lovely with a banner, cake, Lego and more as part of this. The downsides were the children's sleeping area was in eyeline of the TV and completely open to the room on one side so it was Impossible to not disturb the children after their bedtime with lights on and we didn't watch the TV at all. Overall, the accommodation was expensive for what it was. I also found Bricks Restaurant very disappointing. We had an evening meal with a very limited menu and paid nearly £80 for 3 soft drinks, 2 adult's main meals and 2 children's main meals. The adult fish portion was so small that I initially handed it to my daughter, mistakenly thinking it was a child's portion when it arrived on the table! The batter was delicious, although I was given the wrong side dish with it. At breakfast, we had to wait 10 minutes for a table to be cleared in spite of having a time booked in advance. The pool was quite basic and we expected a bit more in terms of fun features in the smaller pool- a short dual slide and a handful of sprinklers was all that was on offer. The bigger pool is very plain and dull.
