Reception and staff, shuttle bus etc. Were very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Hotel very clean, food limited menu but lovely food. Shuttle bus fantastic. No other amenities. Bar was awaiting delivery of draft and bottled beer for 3 days so we had to go somewhere else for a drink. We had booked late check out and were woken up by housekeeping early, explained we had late check out but were woken again by phonecall from Reception asking us to vacate room, it took me to go to reception with proof to which the woman responded 'oh it must be on other server' ??????? Why wasn't it checked then? Completely disorganised. I spent the time I paid for late check prooving I'd paid for it??????? No apologies! Very disappointed. So no drinks or explanation as to why they had let it run out if as they said hotel was 'booked out' that weekend so they should have made sure they had stock and absolutely no regard into what I'd booked and paid for! Really felt sorry for ground staff as management should take responsibility for these issues instead of letting the staff at hotel get burdened with management mistakes! Very let down with mis information and not very good management skills and planning for their visitors stays!

Arrived at 7in the morning greeted by lovely young man called Bradley so helpful and very kind ,there was nothing that was to much trouble,even lovely chef did some pastries for me although not on menu at the time would recommend this hotel to stay .

My room was nothing like the ones shown online. As I walked in the smell of mould and damp was horrific. I found hairs on the bed, the carpet was dirty, the decoration is very dated, the heating makes a horrible noise. The bathroom wasn't very clean. I also had dinner in the restaurant and the quality was very poor. Very overpriced. The only positive thing was the staff. They were all very friendly and attentive but the hotel is falling apart. It needs renovating and/or deep cleaning.

Great hotel experience, we went from Airport to stay for 2 days, hotel was overloaded with unexpected travellers as flights cancelled staff were outstanding and very helpful under duress But came through it all with grace,, good job team.

Be careful folks. This hotel gives out random parking fines to legitimate, registered guests. Rung up to complain and front desk were obviously used to the issue. Although the fine was cancelled straight away, should not have been sent in the first place!

Sorry to say I recommended this hotel to my friends who wanted to stay elsewhere before a short break flying from Bristol Airport. I recommended it based on stays we have had in the past here, when it was in a better state of repair. The first disappointment was that contrary to what it says on the website and what we have done before, you can't do a sleep/park/fly package anymore. There were no spaces, so we had the night of free parking at the hotel and then had to use Bristol Airport parking for the airport, which is what we did. We booked a table for six earlier in the day, before setting off, in the hotel restaurant, for 8:00pm. Sat down on time, with maybe ten other people in the restaurant, ordered the food for the table, no starters, had a few drinks, then waited an hour and a half for the food. I complained to the manageress on the hour mark, who looked harassed, but was working efficiently nonetheless. To say sorry, they bought a round of drinks for the table. By this time we had already had four rounds on an empty stomach. The food finally turned up, all hot and ready at the same time, and the quality of the food was high. Can't complain about that at all. The rooms were all shabby, in need of a refurb, as were the bathrooms, threadbare towels and a shower head that slid down the pole as you showered. Silicone smeared all over the place and holes in the walls from where fittings have been changed for different ones. There's a distinct lack of power points, or USB ports, and the TV remote has been disabled so that you can't use the sleep timer. To cap it all, we had a twin room when we stayed on our return, arriving with our car at 3:03am on the following Tuesday and leaving at 9:51am. I had booked a double bed, got twin singles. That room was freezing cold and the heating didn't work. We literally slept and left. Ten days later I get a parking charge notice from parking eye, with an ANPR picture of my number plate, demanding a £60 parking charge, rising to £100 if not paid in their specified time period. Unbelievable. I rang the hotel and they said it happens quite a lot now they've changed companies, and not to worry, because she had cancelled it. I'll wait and see if that's true. All told, the staff are great, the food is very good (apart from the pizza) but the staff are being let down by under staffing in the kitchen and shabby, poorly maintained rooms. That's the impression I get. I don't think we will be staying here again.

We stayed here for two days for a family wedding. Fantastic, efficient receptionists, Ella and Noah. An absolute credit to Holiday Inn, these two regularly throughout our stay were always ready to help, polite and amazing. Thank You both! The restaurant was abysmal, despite staff trying their best the kitchen was disorganised, breakfast in particular was poor. Not enough hot food, guests milling about waiting for cutlery, butter, bread, hot food, we spent ten minutes waiting for these before we could eat both mornings. The room was clean, bed super comfortable as usual for holiday inn. The driver/receptionist man was very friendly, enjoyed his job. Stains on the carpet was one thing I didn’t like, in the bedroom. Brilliant location for Aldwick vineyard, Airport etc.

I selected the hotel because they offer courtesy transport from the airport. It was not available. I made seven calls to the hotel. None of which were answered. I paid for a taxi and no-one was manning the reception. Eventually someone turned up and explained they were extremely short of staff. Checked in and found there was no food available. They suggested ordering food in. No local restaurants would deliver. The management need to be aware of this.
