we loved the room, so spacious and clean! tho its abit far from the central area but cabbing is not expensive

This is my second stay at Hualuxe Xiamen. My entire family loved this hotel, the room is immaculate, the staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. The view is wonderful. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool the most. The food in the Chinese restaurant on the second floor is highly recommended. We will definitely visit again!

Great view, a bit far the city centre. Ocean view is terrific, totally worth the price.

When arrived at 3:30pm the room still not ready. While was offered free drinks but the staff at the bar just busy with talking to her phone ( obviously it is not work related call) , I need to talk to her loudly so that to get her attention.

We enjoyed our one night stay back from Tulou house. Convenient location, nice view, indoor swimming pool, good size room for 2 adults and 2 kids, international breakfast and last but not least very good value for money. We’ll stay back in the same hotel if we happen to go back to Xiamen

The exterior of the hotel itself is amazing as was our mountain view. Out room was clean and comfortable. Although a lot of the menu items weren’t available because of high demand for Chinese New Year’s Day, we still got exceptional room service. The items available were reasonably priced too 👏🏽. Breakfast buffet is good; there were a lot of choices. In house gym has an amazing view and there’s a heated pool as well. I would stay here again.

Our room was very comfortable. We had a good view of the harbor. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. They catered for all tastes and there was a wide variety of food available

1. English speaking staff. Professional people at the front desk.
2. Upgraded the room number. That was a nice touch.
3. Nice view and comfortable bed.
4. Welcome fruits. Also a nice touch.
5. I forgot my hair brush, and they were nice to send a message.

1. Plastic bath tub. Wouldn’t expect that from a 5 star hotel.
2. No individual shampoo and conditioner. So if you want to take a bath, that would be a struggle. Funny enough, the lotion was in the individual tube. Don’t know why.
3. Very limited selection during breakfast. No cheese, very old coffee machine. So I guess for foreign guests I wouldn’t suggest it.
4. I was having breakfast for almost 40 min, and no one cleaned the tables. Super slow service. No knives ….
5. No coffee machine in the room. At least they could have drip coffee, instead of instant one.
Overall 7/10.
