JI Hotel (Xinxiang Pangdonglai Life Plaza)

This was by far the worst Ji Hotel I've ever stayed at. There was a huge bug in the room, it looked like a rove beetle but without wings, so I'm not sure what it was. Getting into the parking lot was also a hassle; we waited forever for the gate to open. It took several attempts for the camera to read our license plate, and I honestly thought no one was at the guard booth. Turns out, the security guard was just sitting inside. After finally parking, we were told we couldn't park on the hotel side and had to move to the street side. I didn't think we were blocking anything, but fine, we moved to the very back. The next morning, someone had parked in our spot, which we weren't even allowed to park in, and they were double-parked (even though we weren't allowed to double-park before!). As you can see in the picture, there was barely any space between the two cars. We were in a hurry that morning, and getting our car out from the very back was a real test of driving skills.

The room was quite spacious and cleaned daily, which kept it fresh and tidy. Breakfast was just okay – enough to fill you up, but if you're particular about breakfast, you might be a bit disappointed. Parking at the hotel was very convenient, with a large parking lot right next door. You get free parking with the hotel's voucher. Overall, I had a good experience and felt it offered great value for money.

Came here after hiking in the South Taihang Mountains. As usual, the Ji Hotel maintained its high standards across the board. I often stay at Ji Hotel or Atour for business trips, and they usually cost around 400 RMB. I'm just puzzled why a premium king room in Xinxiang would cost nearly 600 RMB. For that price, I could book a 5-star hotel in a second-tier city in the Yangtze River Delta. Later that evening, I saw on the HUAZHU app that a king room was available for under 500 RMB, so I contacted Ctrip customer service to get a refund for the price difference. It was a bit frustrating.

Whenever I'm in Xinxiang, the Ji Hotel next to Pang Donglai has always been my go-to. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are, as always, professional and welcoming. Before we checked out, they even wiped down our luggage and left a thoughtful note, which truly made our stay exceptional. I'll definitely choose Ji Hotel again next time.

The service at Atour Hotel Xinxiang was excellent. The front desk was well-staffed, and the staff explained everything patiently. They also recommended a well-established local restaurant for lamb stew noodles, which was delicious and conveniently located near the hotel. The Atour bed was incredibly comfortable; with the blackout curtains drawn, I slept soundly until noon!

Staying with family in a third-tier city, the overall service and cleanliness truly exceeded our expectations. We even received complimentary welcome fruit! The bedding was excellent, and the rooms were impeccably clean.

I booked this hotel specifically to visit Dapang. It's quite a distance from Dapang, so cycling is the most convenient way to get there. The front desk service was good, and the room was clean.

The service was very attentive, and the room was spotlessly clean. A big plus was the treadmill, which made for a great evening workout.
