Absolutely recommended! Walkable to the ancient town and many restaurants, shops, and cafes. Across the street is the 20rmb spot and you can also take a photo with the cormorant fisherman. Amazing views from our room's balcony. Our room is big and complete. Complete amenities. The boss was very nice and helpful. He helped us bring our luggages to the fifth floor. He also helped us get a scooter for only 20rmb/day. The breakfast rice noodles really delicious. He also gave us lots of free bottled water and let us borrow his flashlight at night. Superb!

We loved it here - simple but perfect. Beautiful view, a short walk to the bamboo rafts or into town and a delicious noodle breakfast on the terrace looking out over the river and mountains.

The owner of this accommodation truly offers exceptional service. From the moment we got out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed at the entrance. He lent us a free electric scooter to use. When he found out we were vegetarians and had trouble finding food, he kindly let us use his kitchen during our stay. The accommodation is very close to several tourist attractions, all within walking distance — such as the 20 Yuan scenic spot, bamboo rafting, and Xingping Ancient Street. There are also many places renting traditional clothes for photo shoots. The room is clean and spacious. We rented it for 3 adults, and it had two air conditioners. Free drinking water and fresh plums were provided daily. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation that feels like staying at your own uncle’s house. Even when we checked out at 7 a.m., the owner got up early just to boil corn and eggs for us to eat on the journey. You won’t find a kinder and helpful hotel owner! My mom and I were impressed by how friendly and willing to help us he was. He also cooks a really good breakfast. The rooms have magnificent views on the Li river and the location is great to walk by the beautiful scenery, and a few minutes from the old center with all the restaurants and cafes. I highly recommend this home stay!

Decent place to stay in Xinping Ancient town. The owner is very helpful and you will have a good breakfast.

The accommodation is very nice and located across the Riverside and with a fabulous view on the mountains. Make sure to get a room in one of the upper floors, where you have fantastic and unforgettable view. wildest the accommodation is rather simple, it is very clean and the owner is incredibly friendly and nice and service oriented. He made sure that I had everything I needed, he even peeled a pomelo for me to make me try. Although he is not speaking English, he is patient with translator apps. The location is great - just a few meters from Xingping but very quiet and as said, with fantastic view. I can fully recommend this accommodation!

Location is good, right next to Lijiang river not far from the 20 yuan note background viewing platform. Xingping Ancient Town was just a short walk away. The owner was super friendly and helpful. He upgraded our room to a very spacious one without charge and helped us carry our luggage to the 3rd floor. Also helped us order cab to take us to our next stop.

Excellent views and location

There was no lift in the hotel, our room was on the 5th floor but the view from the room definitely worth the five floors climb. The owner/manager was very helpful and friendly, he helped us to carry the luggages up and down the floors.

Highly recommended! First, the owner, a warm-hearted Northeasterner, is always willing to help. Second, the location is excellent; the riverside viewpoint is right next to the 20 RMB scenic spot, and you can even enjoy the view from your room's balcony if you're tired. It's a 5-minute walk to the ancient town's pedestrian street, just across the iron bridge. It's an 8-minute walk to Chaobanshan Wharf, allowing you to avoid the morning raft rush. Getting to Xiangong Mountain is also convenient; take the 5 RMB ferry from Laozhaishan Wharf, then pay 50 RMB per person for a shuttle bus to the scenic area entrance. Overall, highly recommended!

The hotel is clean, organized, and very well located, right across from the 20-yen bill landmark and very close to the pedestrian street. The waiter's service is very welcoming and friendly, and he even prepares delicious Guilin noodles for breakfast. Thank you for the warm welcome.

The view was beautiful and I could see the sunset, but unfortunately I missed the time. The only drawback was that I had to climb five flights of stairs, which made my wife scold me.
