Tamara is just like the wow. We found the place to be extremely peaceful with a beautiful view from the balcony and above average food. Also had some fun shopping for souvenir at Veren*** and testing my super bad archery skills in the games room. Wish I had borrowed some books to read. Amazing folks who were extremely hospitable with a special mention to the ever smiling and pleasant Har****a at the front desk.

The only reason why i was convinced to put a 5 star for location is because of the lush greenery that is around the resort. Apart from that our experience at the resort was “CRAP”. The rooms were designed well but that’s the only thing good about it. There was no bathtub in a SUITE cottage, which personally defeats the purpose it being called a SUITE. Not to mention during one of the heavy rain episodes WATER STARTED TO LEAK THROUGH THE ROOF. This is a definite shocker. The food was utter disaster, it was the same food being renamed over and over again. THERE IS NOTHING LIVE ABOUT THE LIVE COUNTER. Frying frozen store bought stuff and serving it on a white plate doesn’t make it live counter food. The chat counter was average. The only other good thing about the resort was the swimming pool and sauna, and that’s the reason it got a 2 star. Otherwise it should have been 0 STARS Since the resort was in the middle of the jungle, there were insects lurking all around the room. Now any luxury resort with common sense would employ foolproof pest control. But this resort, despite their alleged “pest measures”, there was a bat hanging from the ceiling on the balcony, going about like it owns the place. So, early morning when we would like to have a tea outside, there’s BAT FAECES on the carpet. This after the COVID pandemic. And there were insects roaming around inside the room, which ruined our stay due to the common survival instinct we had to avoid insects. Not to mention one of the instances where there was a huge insect in the middle of the hall, not sure what it was as we were too afraid to confront it,rather than analyze what insect it was. Overall, it is definitely not worth the price they are asking. It is not most certainly not luxury and i am ashamed to have not spent my money more wisely

I got the swedish massage done from Yogesh and I must say it was Truely amazing!!! Just fab Throughout experience was amazing Very well behaved Well trained Hospitality is top notch at the tamara!! Thank you so much Yogesh and the overall hospitality Regards Parth

Tamara Madikeri is a luxurious resort to stay,beautiful location, worth staying,birthday decorations were awesome and I really thank d staff for arranging it so well..food was really good..service was outstanding..will visit again,Thank you.

We recently stayed at Tamara coorg resort for our wedding anniversary. Resort was beautiful,pleasant, perfect for a holiday relaxing stay, must go for it during monsoon. Staff are really good, smiling and greeting. View from the cottage was excellent, worth for every penny. Starting with my booking, had directly visited the site and called the resort, Mr.Prabhu charles was the executive who helped me throughtout the booking process and explained the available packages, even arranged our transport ( bit expensive but fine). Akhilesh dubey was intouch during our stay and was very polite and helpful, impressed and Saurav was really good at service.

One of the best place we have been ever, been ti ***y good hotels and resorts , but the hospitality here was next level , you name it ans that department and that person was always ready to serve you , there is always a yes sir Still the best part was water they are serving you , they’re have a separate bottling plant , and we felt it , water we were drinking was super , we could really feel it Also breakfast was amazing, cant expect anything more then what they are serving , you will be full but want to have more , we would really miss that part Over all one of the best property to be when in Coorg

I have had the pleasure to stay in this facility for 3 days. I booked it because it was close to my place of interest, because it had good reviews and because the pictures looked pretty. Little did I know how much I underestimated this resort! The combination of tranquility, breathtaking views from your "room", the omnipresent luxury, selection of superb activities, the cuisine, the actual living forest all around you and overall hospitality and service simply cannot be described by words. One must experience it first-hand to fully appreciate this gem of a property. This property is situated literally inside a functioning coffee plantation, where you can explore the coffee making process from blossom to brewing (and roast / grind coffee beans yourself!). That is only one of the few exceptional activities offered, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The plantation is huge, and so is the resort itself. So of course they drive you with a buggy, whenever you are not in a mood for a little walk. Your "room" is actually a cottage, suspended above tree foliage, with a sense of complete privacy, even though a next cottage is nearby. The view has depth which can only be experienced by the seashore, or at high altitude. The connection to nature is taken very seriously here, and can also be felt intensely everywhere - whether you are relaxing on the terrace of your cottage, or walking to the pool and spa, or just having dinner. Talking about dining. The selection and variety of meals is astonishing, and so is the flavor. The whole dining experience is wonderful - the taste, the drinks & cocktails, the fact that you are actually dining above the waterfall, prompt and kind service offered by every staff member (waiters and ***agers alike). I would especially like to spotlight Mr.Bishu, who was serving us for the duration of our stay. He was always professional, very kind, attentive to all our needs, and so polite. I would also like to spotlight chef Mr.Sanjaya and his whole team, who worked so hard to make our stay as pleasant and tasty as possible. We even had the pleasure to participate in a 'chocolate moulding' activity, where Mr.Sanjaya guided us through the whole process with kindness, genuine interest and professional tips and advice. Very much appreciated, we had so much fun! And those delicious handmade sweets which we created by our own hands were only icing on the cake. We also had a massage. Let me just say, it was not your ordinary massage. Sitting in the chair in fresh air, facing the forest and flowers, and listening to chirping birds was extraordinary. And of course it was complemented with gentle music, smell of aromatic oils and a super relaxing massage. Service and attitude of every single staff member (whether waiters, spa personnel, buggy drivers, receptionist, pool caretakers, or any other) was the same - they were all so very kind, respectful and helpful. I could not get enough of this resort and the multitude of experiences it offers. It

Magical experience. Beautiful property in the midst of forests. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the sounds of birds that fills the air. Location is pristine. No children policy is a double plus. Hospitality is one of the best I’ve experienced. All the staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay special. Special mention to Bouthika and Chef Anand. He made sure to take care of my special food needs! Will definitely make a trip back here very soon!

Mrs.Preethy, Head of reception made life pleasant for us throughout our stay during 6th to 10 May 2024 The staff in the cafeteria led by Chief Cook Anand were always helpful and housekeeping was consistently good. Our travel arrangement from Mysore airport and back was well organized. Our trip to Talakaveri was equally good. The resort stay with splendid view to thick forest was an unique experience for us.
