Yili Hotel

The room decor blends vintage charm with simple elegance. The hotel's restaurant feels like a state guesthouse with its delicious food, and the courtyard is like a small forest. The air is fantastic, it's quiet and secluded, and even the trees are numbered and certified. Most importantly, it's a hotel with history and stories. We canceled other guesthouses and extended our stay here precisely because it's irreplaceable and one-of-a-kind. Breakfast is superb, with a wide variety of options for all tastes, at 58 per person. The ice cream shop in the courtyard is also in an old building, with many flavors and a great vibe! 👍

Our stay at Yining Yili Hotel was fantastic! The hotel, formerly a Russian consulate, boasts towering ancient trees and a tranquil lake, creating a natural oxygen bar. Strolling along the 1.3 km boardwalk, we even spotted little squirrels, which was incredibly soothing. We booked a multi-room suite in Building 6, which was spacious and comfortable – perfect for a family trip. The biggest surprise was finding a "Gulandam" ice cream shop right in the courtyard, letting us completely avoid the long queues at Liuxing Street! The staff were warm and friendly, and check-in was very efficient. Breakfast offered not only a Chinese buffet but also Kazakh specialty dishes. The hotel's location is superb, just a 10-minute walk to the Kazanqi Folk Tourism Area, and parking for self-drivers is also very convenient. Highly recommend!

I stayed in both Building 2 and Building 3 of the Yili Hotel. Building 3, which was formerly the Russian consulate, was quite impressive. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with lush trees and a lake, making it feel like a secluded paradise in the bustling city center of Yining. They also offer Halal meals every day. On my last night, I even got an unexpected upgrade to a suite, which was fantastic in terms of experience and comfort. The only downsides were that the bathroom light in the suite kept turning off automatically, and there was a power outage at 4 AM. Luckily, it was fixed quickly, but my dad, who was already short on sleep, lost another hour because of it [facepalm].

The hotel has a beautiful environment, and sitting outside the Gulandan Ice Cream shop is very comfortable. The small history museum beautifully showcases the historical and cultural highlights of both the hotel and Yining. The chicken noodle soup for breakfast was delicious! Building 2 is where both check-in and the restaurant are located. Hotel parking is free, and you don't need to register when entering or exiting.

The environment here is great, with towering trees everywhere, offering a refreshing green view. Our family of six stayed in a three-bedroom suite, which was very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. We stayed for three nights straight. On our check-in day, our flight was delayed, and we didn't arrive until after 2 AM, but the front desk lady was still incredibly welcoming and helped us get settled into our room. The male staff members on the following days were also very friendly and polite. My family all agreed it was a fantastic stay. P.S.: The Gulandam ice cream at the hotel is absolutely delicious! We had it every single day and I still miss it now.

This is a great hotel, and I stay here every time I visit Yili. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the garden-style courtyard is perfect for a stroll. It's created many wonderful memories for my family and has become our go-to hotel for all our trips.

The hotel is set in very spacious gardens with convenient parking. The rooms are quiet and clean, perfect for a good night's sleep. You can also take a stroll through the gardens and enjoy some ice cream at the on-site shop.

The room was great! It used to be the Soviet consulate, so it has old trees, lush green lawns, and a really relaxed atmosphere with birds chirping and flowers blooming. The breakfast was good too, excellent overall! I'd suggest adding laundry facilities.

This was my second stay at the Yili Hotel. I specifically chose it for both the first and last days of my trip. It's a historic garden-style hotel with an excellent location. While some of the facilities are a bit dated, the service is outstanding, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. There's even a famous ice cream shop right in the hotel! It's very close to Liuxing Street and Kazanqi. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, recommending nearby shopping and dining spots. It made for a very nice trip, highly recommend!
