The location of the Minster Hotel is super convenient and you could go anywhere by foot. Staffs is so friendly and helpful. Hotel provided pay parking which is in very bargain price and very secure. The traditional English breakfast is extremely tasty and I’m very enjoyed it. Overall experience is absolutely brilliant !

The location of the hotel is both prosperous and quiet, very close to the large classroom. There are many scenic spots to visit nearby, which is not bad. There is also a supermarket opposite and many restaurants nearby. It is worth staying here again next time.

The facilities are complete but relatively old. The room layout is still very warm and the hygiene is good👍. It is quite close to the train station, within 10 minutes by car. There are churches and commercial streets nearby, which is suitable for checking in.

The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the train station, and you can see York Minster when you go out. The room was tidy and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable. Room service is provided on demand, instead there are daily packs of tea and toilet paper, biscuits left at the door. Free luggage storage before and after check-in. There are more rooms than expected, and there is ample parking in the backyard. The only downside is that the bed in the standard room is a bit narrow, it seems to be less than 1.5 meters wide, and it's a bit difficult for two people to sleep.

An old hotel near the Old Town of York, it is very convenient to visit the Old Town, especially with ample and safe parking spaces. The breakfast is great. In addition to the buffet style, you can also order from the menu. The service staff are very enthusiastic to assist guests, and it can be regarded as the first choice hotel when visiting York.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Our room was compact and clean. The shower was hot, the tea tray very well stocked. Breakfast was superb both in terms of choice and quality. And every member of staff we encountered was warm and welcoming. Would fully recommend.

Extremely friendly staff, great central location near to restaurants and the Minster made this excellent value. Superb breakfast too.

The staff are so friendly and helpful like most yorkshire folk, particularly the always happy Stewart serving breakfast who has been there forever. Great breakfast options in lovely dining room. Good shower, warm rooms. So convenient for the town centre, perfect and flexible parking

The hotel was excellently positioned fir york centre. It was very clean and staff helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

This is our 4th time at this hotel, and i wouldn't go anywhere else, excellent location, and easy walking distance to the City and attractions

A mix of traditional and modern, the room was comfortable and spacious. Close to the city centre and easy to find and park. Service was amazing, plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. The wifi connection was a little slow but that can't detract from the wonderful two nights here. Will definitely return
