Yufuin Onsen Hinoharu Ryokan Reviews

The room was very clean and the service was good. When you arrive, you go to the hot springs first, and after you check in, you can eat kaiseki cuisine. It provides a private room where you can enjoy it slowly, and each dish is introduced by someone. During the meal, the staff will put cold water and hot water in the room to serve the noodles. After eating, you can have tea after returning to the room.

Location service best ryokan

Hotel location is quite near the shopping street. It is very convenience. There are quite a lot of hot spring inside. It is clean and tidy. Wifi is very good for me which helps me to work at night even on holidays. Food is good and staff is very polite and helpful. Will come gain or recommend to friend.

I went to Yufuin with my wife and stayed there. The private hot spring was nice, and the room was spacious, which was very nice. I'm really satisfied.

The location was very good. I was satisfied with the quiet and private hot springs. I was able to stay comfortably without any inconvenience because the staff who spoke Korean well responded kindly. I will visit again next time with my family.

There is a private bathroom, the room is bright, and the hotel staff is very friendly. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage. When check-in time comes, they will help you put your luggage into the room in advance. Location: It does take about 10 minutes to get there from JR station. In the alley next to the main street~ As a Cantonese, the food is OK, but not amazing~ There are 2 private hot springs and 2 public ones~ Each private hot spring has a usage limit of 40 minutes, so you won’t have to wait too long ~ the hot spring is very comfortable

The experience of Centennial Hot Spring Hotel is particularly good! Traditional Japanese tatami, 10 rooms in total, small and exquisite Butler service, our butler arranged it very well for us Although it is not a private bath in the room, the door of each outdoor bath can be locked when using it, so it is no different from a private bath. Breakfast is also very delicious! Exquisite breakfast, each comes in a small dish, so you don’t have to worry about not being full! I will stay again if I come again! I must try his kaiseki dinner next time

Very comfortable journey

Yufuin is so beautiful. The misty mountains, surrounded by moist plants, cleanse the soul, and all kinds of small flowers on the roadside are very beautiful. You must stay for one night and wait for the town to calm down. The hotel is impeccable, no matter the location or the service staff, introduce every part of the hotel seriously. First of all, the staff were so friendly! Although it was peak season, the value for money was really good, and although not every room had a private hot spring, I was able to use it comfortably with a friend. The room was also clean and spacious.

It is about 10-15 min walk from Yufuin train station to the Ryokan. If you have large luggages, it will be good to call for a taxi, otherwise, it is manageable! We were warmly welcomed by reception staff. They were quick to receive us and took care of our luggages as we were checking in. A tour around the ryokan was also given to us by a staff, Erika-san who took care of us for our 2 nights stay. The room, bathroom and baths were clean and comfortable. Sleep wear was provided and to top up the experience, they also provided Yukatas and footwear for going out. Also, besides providing the showering gels, the vanity table even included some facial and hair lotion. Breakfast was sumptuous and yummy and we had a private room to ourselves. Erika kindly explained to us the dishes in English and offered us with photo taking for memories. (Don’t have to feel awkward requesting). Also, contrary to some reviews, dinner was also splendid and tastes were just right. Ingredients were fresh as well! Worth the dollars and cents! If you are looking at a hot bath, this ryokan has got 3 private baths (2 outdoor and 1 indoor) and 2 public baths (1 for men and 1 for women). Went for the private bath and it felt like it was our own sanctuary as we were undisturbed and were given a time limit of 1 hour 40 min. There were a few staff who are seen around from time to time and they are always polite and helpful. Can’t emphasize enough on their service! A place I will come back to in future!
