Yufuin Besso Shikisai Hotel
"wonderful and cozy place with the availability of private onsen bath. everything was amazing just that the walk from Yufuin main street to the hotel is an upslope walk"
Entire rental with sauna in the inner room of Yufuin | COCO VILLA Yufuin
"The design of the accommodation was fantastic! The heat was also kept in check, so it was very warm! However, there are two things I wish were better! First, I wish there was a TV somewhere! I wish I could watch Netflix or Amazon Prime! Second, the sauna facility was designed to let the heat escape easily, so it was a bit disappointing, as it was always around 40-50 degrees... The wood-fired sauna and the aroma were great, so if the sauna temperature could be kept around 80-100 degrees, I would have been perfect!"
Baien
"Great service especially the server for dining."
Hoshino Resorts Kai Yufuin
"the view is amazing and the service are super as the staff are super friendly"
Yufuin Kotobuki Hananosho
"Nice location and dinner Everything is perfect"
Yufuin Sansuikan
"Located a convenient 10 minute walk from Yufuin station, Sansuikan is a great option if you're looking to treat yourself for a night. There are free flow snacks and drinks (including alcohol) in the lobby, and the dinner and breakfast are all-you-can-eat buffet style, also with free flow drinks. There are two onsens, M/F on the 1st/2nd floor and they swap service twice daily. Both floors have outdoor onsen (rotenburo) but the 1st floor onsen is much larger and includes a sauna. Do note the buffet signages were in Japanese only, so you may need to approach the staff for assistance if you aren't fluent. (Their staff are fluent in English.) Overall I was quite impressed with the experience for the price point. Would come back next time 😊"
ENOWA YUFUIN
"This newly opened resort, inaugurated in June 2023, combines luxurious accommodation with a focus on providing guests with a pure, natural, and rejuvenating experience amidst the serenity of lush green surroundings. Nestled among sprawling mountain forests and flowing streams, the resort offers a range of facilities including farms, greenhouses, restaurants, villas, and guest rooms. The highlight of the resort is undoubtedly the exquisite restaurant "JUMGU," helmed by executive chef Tashi Gyamtso, who previously honed his skills at the esteemed two-Michelin-starred restaurant "Blue Hill at Stone Barns" in New York. With a commitment to the farm-to-table concept, "JUMGU" meticulously selects daily and seasonal ingredients to create an array of innovative dishes that delight the senses. Our dinner experience there was truly exceptional! Taking advantage of the natural topography of the mountainous terrain, the resort's villas and guest rooms are thoughtfully designed. Utilizing materials like stone, wood, and soil, the resort creates an elegant and rustic ambiance that seamlessly blends with the surroundings. The rooms are adorned with infinity swimming pools, enhancing the overall sense of luxury. You can truly immerse yourself in this unforgettable experience."
Yufuin Hotel Shuhokan
"Hotel is about 15 minutes walk away from the bus station. However, the scenery on the way is beautiful and peaceful. Staffs are friendly and helpful and we appreciated the upgrade and services. Overall , the room is super clean and has private bathroom .Love the hot spring facilities and will look forward to the future visit."
Kutsurogi-No-Yado Nanakawa

Rakuten STAY HOUSE x WILL STYLE Yufuin Kawakami
"we are group of 3 adults 2 kids and 1 baby. The hotel is clean, and utensils for cooking are useful. We were able to cook for our own dinner. laundry area with a heating exhaust fan is good for drying clothes over the night. The only thing is the stairs is a bit dangerous for babies and young kids as they are quite steep. Otherwise our stay had been perfect."
Makibanoie
"Tattoo friendly. Great rooms, onsen and kaiseki. Highly recommend."
Yufuin Hanarenoyado Yukagetsu
"Nice private onsen , perfect for couples and family. Free wine welcome drink"
Yufuin Onsen Hotel Poppoan
"The room is spacious, well-lit, and tidy. Hot spring bath available in the room. The scenery outside the windows is very nice and relaxing. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful. The hotel served a good portion of Japanese style dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended!"
Yufuin Kaze No Mori
"Hotel provided transport from Yufuin Station to hotel, which just take a few minute only. Nice environment, tidy and beautiful. Great food. Staffs are so nice. They are polite, fast in response, and helpful."
Yufuin Bath Satoyamasafu
"Very good client service and very helpful in solving our needs."
Yufuin Onsen Ryokan Mebaeso
"Dinner and breakfast were both delicious! The room was clean and comfortable. There are two private hot springs; you can lock the door and enjoy them alone. There is a scheduled shuttle service. Overall, very satisfied."
Ikkoten
"Nice Onsen hotel. Friendly and helpful staffs , nice foods."
Yufuin Ublhotel
"Room was spacious. Public bath was clean and enjoyable. Not sure if it was just good timing, but the public bath for both men and women were not busy. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and was very full after each meal. The staff are friendly. Nice lounge area with free coffee and water. Take advantage of their shuttle service from hotel to JR Station."
Yufunoi Yuhri
"Located in a quaint little town which is about 1.5km away from Yufuin Station. Everything was perfect about this little Onsen Hotel/Inn and the food was beyond words could describe! The only downside was to get to and fro the hotel from Yufuin Station. Taxi will set you back ¥800 per way. Bus will only take you about 750m and you got to walk the rest of the distance upslope to the hotel. On the day of departure from the hotel, we pre-arranged a taxi to pick my wife and I up at 8.40am for our 9.07am train to Kumamoto and we were only informed that all taxi bookings were full at 8am. My wife and I had a hasty but tasty breakfast before making our way downslope, onto the Main Street to Yufuin Station. An early morning Route March some would call it. 😂 Thank you Yuhri for giving us the best of your service and the private Onsen was more than perfect too!"
Enokiya Ryokan
"The room was spacious, clean, and very cosy. The only downside was that there was no bath in the room, which we were informed of at check-in. However, the hotel offers three Private onsen available from 3pm to 9am, shared among more than 10 rooms, and they were generally easy to access. Breakfast was a typical Japanese-style spread and acceptable, though not really to my personal taste. The location was excellent, right in the center of the attractions we planned to visit, including Lake Kinrin and Yufuin Floral Village, all within walking distance !"
Yufuin-Sanso Waremokou
"Incredible value for money. The only thing i can nitpick about - dinner is not very long (for ryokan dinners), which means you will probably get dishes much faster than you can eat them. Other than that - you get spacious rooms with fantastic view and private outdoor onsen. Also big public onsen is “first come first serve”"
Oyado Kaikatei Ryokan
"I brought my mother. There are reviews saying that the facilities are old, but I liked it :) The staff is friendly, the hot spring temperature is just right, and it's clean. Next time, I want to come back with my mother and sister's family. I'll rest well and go. Thank you ^^"
Yufuin Bettei Itsuki
"Great onsen experience. The package with half broad, meal was great. Also the room has indoor private onsen. Should try experience (but a bit pricy 😅)"
