Yufuin, who wanted to stay before. Renewed with the total design of etsuji Mitooka who worked on the luxury sightseeing train. It is an inn, but it has a chair and bed, simple but nice design, and it was perfect for us who did not like people coming in and out of the room. The meal was more comfortable and good than the room meal because it was served in another room. The dishes were also devised and beautiful and delicious. When I asked the young female staff, I was impressed by the answer to everything except the dishes. We couldn't leave food, so we were full of pots, because we had a lot of pots. The inn had a lot of dinner and breakfast, so the inn continued for two days was a little bit painful when it was old. The bath was a family, and there was a large open-air bath and I was able to relax. It was conveniently located to walk around Lake Jinpu and Yuno Tsubo Kaido Road, and it was fun to enjoy shopping and enjoy it. I would like to stay when I visit Yufuin someday.

Yufuyuan Dayの Spring Hotel came to the famous hot spring hotel under zero temperature. The whole family stayed at the Japanese-style tatami hotel about 20 pings. The location was about 10 minutes walk from the station. It just snowed in the whole area two days ago. There was still snow on the ground. Walking along the way on Yubu Street, there are all kinds of small shops, eating and drinking will not feel too far! One berth and two foods, the price is very affordable, it is recommended! Open-air hot springs, family hot spring houses, personal hot spring houses are available, suitable for everyone to experience.

It is a 5-story inn. To commemorate the anniversary of its founding １１１, there was a free beer drink service in the lounge. It is a long-established inn in Yufuin Onsen. The customer service of the front desk staff was polite • and kind. I was able to answer the difference between Yufuin and Yufuin properly. I stayed in a large Japanese-style room on the ５ floor. When I opened the curtain, Mt. Yufu was approaching in front of me. The bathrooms are not unit-type, and the bath • Toilet • wash basins are independent. Supper is a summer Oitagawa kaiseki course. All the dishes were delicious. In particular, the dishes that left an impression on me were grilled on a Japanese black beef hoba miso ceramic plate. The warmed miso has a hoba scent, and the slightly sweet taste goes well with the beef. The more you want to refill it with an exquisite taste. Breakfast is buffet style. I was satisfied with the local menu of Oita Prefecture, including dango soup. There are two indoor baths in the large hot spring bath with a spacious space. There is also a whirlpool bath and a Louis Bosti hot water of the incense hot water. The open-air bath has natural rocks on the side facing the garden. The hot water temperature is a little hot and has a feeling of slimy. What is it in the indoor bath! Yunohana. Yunohana, which crystallized the hot spring ingredients, was in bloom in the bathtub. Stayed in a suite with two single beds which have our own open air bath and an indoor bath as well. The open air bath was just great, very large and beautiful. So relaxing to enjoy after almost three years not being able to visit the country and use onsen. Suite itself is very spacious and the amenities are new. There were however two small windows, one at the living area and the other near the suite's entrance which did not have curtains or blinds, and could be seen from the outside. Otherwise everything was perfect. The ryokan's public bath has an excellent view of Mt. Yufu. Food quality of the Kaiseki dinner was high. There were ample parking spaces for guests' use. I would like to thank Mr. Pralhad Pathak at the front desk who helped me make calls and spoke on my behalf to the staff of the hotel where I stayed the night before to help me look for my watch which somehow got lost. He was very caring and assisted me to follow up even upon my check-out. Very nice of him. Really appreciate it. My stay at Baien was a wonderful experience. I stayed at three different ryokans and some other hotels during my 8-day trip to Kyushu this time, and I ranked Baien no.1. I would definitely stay there again next time when I visit Yufuin.

The large open-air bath overlooking Mt. Yufu has the best atmosphere. It's warm, so you can soak in it leisurely. For men, there is already a １ or a small open-air bath that is hot and can be used by the bridge. I stayed in the main building. It is a building with a considerable age, and although it is undeniably old, the toilet has been renovated and cleaned well. The dishes were basic plans, so there were no high-class ingredients, but I was satisfied with the contents that I could feel politeness. Finally, the response of the employees was very good and made the impression of this inn very good.

There are two hot springs that can be used by individuals, and a convenience store is very close. The room isn't bad, but it's a bit far from the station, so if you have a carrier, you'll have to take a taxi. We made a booking directly with the hotel (Google translate). Communication wasn’t very prompt and last email was never responded. But it was ok. Our request for ground floor room was granted. Room We booked a western twin room. It was small with no cupboard, only 2 hooks. Besides this, it was clean and came with attached toilet. Bed was comfortable as well. Facilities Nice public Onsen - large. A pity no view at all to speak off. I didn’t use their 5 private onsens since they were not attractive. Free beer, coffee & tea. Really pretty courtyard, especially in the evening with the kerosine lamps. In the daytime you can see there are room for improvement. Location Excellent, very close to Yufuin’s major attractions like the lake, shopping street and Floral Village. Yet it is located along a quaint canal with great view of the paddy fields and mountains. Not very convenient for walking from the station though due to the non-tar road in immediate vicinity. Taxi fare was reasonable - ¥710. Services Not the friendliest. Staff did bring us to our room, detouring to show us the onsens. However, quite grumpy. After check-in I asked for assistance to book a local restaurant. They won’t help. Food We changed our booking from half board to no meals after our requests for some food tweaks were refused. Conclusion I would return for their location, ambience, good value and the free beer/coffee 😁

I stayed at ”yamachahana” for one night from October 15th (Sun). It has a very moist and calm atmosphere, and you can see Mt. Yufu in front of you from anywhere, and it is a 7-8 minute walk to Yunotsubo-dori and Lake Kinrin, so it is perfect for enjoying Yufuin while holding a basket. I think it's an inn. [About guest rooms] The guest rooms, which are separated from each building, are quaint, and the small diameter that approaches the room is also very nice. The rooms are very large and luxurious, with living rooms, bedrooms, hot springs and terrace separated. What I was worried about was that the distance from the next room was close, so I could hear the voice of the next room, the lighting was too dark overall, the rain leaked on the terrace, and the bed was uncomfortable. [About Onsen] The room has a stone indoor bath that two people can take slowly and a semi-open-air bath of wood for one person, so you can enjoy bathing at any time 24 hours. It was a simple spring, but it was a little numeric and it was a very pleasant hot spring. The hot water temperature was just right. [About meals] Japanese kaiseki dinner was served in a private room, and American breakfast was served for breakfast. I highly recommend this hot spring hotel. It only takes a few minutes by taxi from Yufu Station, which is very convenient. When checking in, you can also make a reservation to take the hotel car back to the station on the day you check out. I am also very satisfied with the overall service and meals (breakfast and dinner). The room I booked has its own hot spring. In addition, the room has the train timetable. You can hear and see the train passing by while soaking in the hot spring. It's perfect! There is no chance to experience this in the city! There is also a hot spring outdoors, which you can use by yourself. When using it, put a sign to prevent other residents from entering. Walking off the path from the hotel is a rice field and a place where the train passes. You can also enjoy the sunset here after checking in. Hot water, tea sets, tea bags, and cakes are provided in the room. I sit by the window and enjoy the tea while looking out at the beautiful scenery. I really like this hotel.

This is the failure of the blind hotel selection for this trip to Japan. . In fact, there are many other hotel options in the town. Fortunately, the surrounding environment heals and does not affect the overall travel mood. The so-called private bath is as small as a single bathtub, and the only outdoor hot spring time is very short. I didn't know that the scheduled dinner was not in the hotel until I arrived. I needed to take a car, and I didn't explain it in advance. It is very similar to a simple ABB standard hotel, which is very different from the expected hot spring hotel. It is also far from the station. The advantage is that it is very close to Jinlin Lake. Get up early and go for a walk. What a lovely place to have a retreat. It's away from the crowd but near the yufuin station....about 500 m. They don't have many rooms so it's quiet. Just outside the hotel is Lawson. Restaurants are also nearby. The hotel looks like a resort with beautiful landscaping. Staff is hospitable and although some don't speak very good English, they try their best. They allow us to keep our luggage at the lobby before check-in and after checkout. The hotel is simply generous with free drinks almost throughout the day and night, free usage of bicycles , beer and instant noodles are sold at a cheap price. It's a self contained hotel. Everything is there. The 4 private onsens are great. Rooms are clean but a bit cramped and it would be good if they have more hangers to hang clothes. A mirror on the wall would be better than a small table mirror. If you're not a cat lover, you might not be impressed when you see their cats walking on the food tables and sitting on the sofas. The small details like a note welcoming you and a photo of you at the end of the stay are why I would love to come back again.

Very comfortable hot spring hotel in the mountains, the ambient air is excellent. The wooden cabins in the forest surrounding the valley are very suitable for relaxing in a daze. The hotel has a pick-up service. Yufuin Bus Station is about 15 minutes away by car. Reservations are available in advance. The owner is Chinese and can communicate without barriers. The people are very attentive and nice. The carefully prepared kaiseki cuisine is very delicious and fully reflects the essence of Japanese cuisine. The beef in Oita Prefecture is very good and I recommend it. I hope I can bring my family again next time I have a chance

The property is very easy to locate and has ample free parking. The owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. Very nicely prepared, arranged and delicious. The rooms were pretty good. Comfortable but not overly spacious. The onsen was pretty good as well. Personally did not enjoy the type of water that was in the bath as it was very different feeling to other baths but it was nice to have a rotemburo outside. Owners were very understanding when we had to spend the day in the hotel rearranging our itinerary and flights to head back to Canada due to Covid-19. The town itself, we were not super big fans of. We could see how many would like it but it really didn't hold much interest to us. And sorry but Kinrin Lake is a pond, not a lake. Liked the hotel but don't think we will return to Yufuin in the future. Thanks for all your kindness during our stay with you.

It was very nice to have a private open-air bath! The public bath was smaller than I thought, so I didn't use it. But the massage chair over there was a good use. I was tired because I went around a lot, but I was a little tired. The room is bigger and cleaner than I thought and there are two Kotatsu I enjoyed it warmly while drinking green tea ☺🍵 The quilt was thick, so I didn't feel uncomfortable sleeping at all. There are two heaters, so I turned them on. The location is far from Yufuin Station, but there was a pick-up service so I went comfortably. However, it is good to check in after seeing all the Yunotsubo Street and Ginrinko Lake. Or after checking out. Before you go, you should hear Lawson convenience stores and Max Value supermarkets. The food was breakfast and dinner, but I was very satisfied !! There was nothing tasteless 👍 The ingredients were fresh, the seasoning was moderate, and the menu was good even for desserts. The dining seats were cozy and private. And the service was very kind and I was laughing. The female staff explained hard and was professional. Overall it was a really happy stay 💗 I want to come again!

This is a ryokan that you can enjoy at a good value for money in Yufuin. Especially for single travelers, there is also a single room (single compact room) so it is even better. The street is about 8-10 minutes walk from Yufuin Station, and it is in the opposite direction to the road to Yunotsubo Street. It is good to go while looking at the secluded scenery on the way. 5살 아이를 포함하여, 어머님과 함께 가족여행을 왔습니다(어른 셋, 아이 하나). 집은 나이드신 노부부께서 관리를 하시는데, 꼼꼼하게 잘 챙겨주십니다. 집주인분께서는 영어를 잘 못하시지만, 항상 실시간 번역어플을 통해서 어떻게든 고객과 소통하려는 노력을 하십니다. 덕분에 불편함 없이 잘 지낼 수 있었습니다. 위치는 유후인 버스 센터에서 도보로 10여분 정도 걸립니다. 걷는 동안의 주변 경관이 한적한 시골마을 느낌이 나는게 너무 좋았습니다. 집 앞의 작은 강에는 항상 오리와 다른 새들이 헤엄을 치거나 물고기 사냥을 하는 것을 볼 수 있었습니다. 온천은 노천탕 한 곳과 가족탕 두곳이 있는데, 가족탕은 예약 없이 비어있으면 사용이 가능한 구조이고, 노천탕은 정해진 시간에 남/여 구분하여 사용이 가능합니다. 저희는 가족탕을 애용했는데, 어머님께서 온천물이 좋다고 계속 칭찬을 하셨습니다. 저희 또한 아이와 함께 온천을 즐길 수 있어서 매우 만족했습니다. 일본 특유의 감성이 느껴지는 온천탕이었습니다. 호텔 어매니티(수건, 유카타, 칫솔, ...)는 가득 비치를 해 놓으셨고, 필요하면 필요한 만큼 가져다 쓰실 수 있습니다. 전체적인 집 분위기는 따뜻하고, 조용합니다. 다만 가이세키를 제공하지 않기에, 꼭 오전에 근처 식당에 저녁 식사 예약을 하시는 것을 추천합니다. 유후인 대부분의 식당이 예약제로 운영을 하며, 일찍 문을 닫아서 낭패를 보기 쉽상입니다. 보통 전화로 예약을 하는데, 저희는 일본어가 어려워서 예약을 할 때, 집 주인분께 도움을 요청드렸더니 흔쾌히 예약을 잡아주셨습니다. 유후인에서 있는 동안 굉장히 편안하게 지냈으며, 가족 모두 만족했습니다.

My family of four planned a trip to Fukuoka and decided to visit Yufuin to experience outdoor onsen. I came across Yufuin Gettouan during my research, and its beauty and tranquility really spoke to me. We only stayed one night because of the lack of availability (and also because it's really expensive), but we really wish we would have stayed longer. There was a ”once in a decade” snowstorm (which seems to occur more frequently than once a decade) when we took the Yufuin no Mori from Fukuoka to Yufuin. As always, fresh white snow makes everything more beautiful (at least in my opinion), and despite my high expectations, I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and serenity of this ryokan. We stayed in a main villa because the annex villas didn't allow kids, but it still has its own private outdoor onsen. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that there was no indoor shower/bathtub in the villa. Since we were not brave enough to take a shower outdoor in snowy conditions, we ended up going to the public bath to take a shower before heading back to the villa and hopping into the private outdoor onsen. It's an unbelievable experience watching the snow falls while being submerged in a cozy onsen! Service and meals were both exceptional, and I would have gone into more details if not for the 1500-character limit on TripAdvisor. If you are looking for a traditional onsen ryokan experience, you really can't go wrong with Yufuin Gettouan. My only regret was only staying for one night.

In March 2022, we stayed １ nights with couple + daughter 2 people. It was a great stay. The rooms are large and clean, the staff is neat, the meal is delicious (the child's dinner is a little too much, but the cheek), the family bath is cleaned well, and it is convenient for sightseeing, I felt it was the best inn for those who wanted to spend quietly and relaxing in Yufuin. I saw a couple, a friend, a family member and a color 々 guest layer, but regardless of nationality, I am used to traveling The neat manner was more impressive. The room itself is designed with a barrier free emphasis, and there is no luxury atmosphere, but it was clean and comfortable.

It was my second visit. However, I was surprised to see a photo of the room introduced on Trip.com and booked it, but another room was booked. The Japanese room I booked had a rock bath in the photo and no bed, but the room I booked had two beds with a ceramic bath (this option was marked on Trip.com as a Japanese Western Room). When selecting a room, you should correct the room name and upload it so that there will be no such mistake later. I think it should be marked as a rock stone bath or a ceramic bath in the room, and the photos in each option should be corrected to be photos of each room, not the entire ryokan, so that there is no misunderstanding. Fortunately, there was an employee who spoke Korean well, so I was grateful that he changed my room and took care of me very carefully. However, they said they would lay a futon, but even though we ate kaiseki for dinner, the room was cold and the room was still there, so we just laid the futon on our own and didn't know how to use the heater, so we took a picture with a translator app, turned on the heater, and slept warmly. There are a few things I did myself, but I spent the day thankful that I was able to change the wrongly booked room and stay at this ryokan. I would like you to correct the room name I requested.
