Not satisfied with the hotel’s taxi service. It cost me a total of 55 euros to drive to the airport for ten minutes.

Excellent seaside resort in a marine park where Caretta Caretta turtles lay their eggs. It features large green spaces and offers all-inclusive meals and services. Suitable for couples, families, friends. Three restaurants, swimming pool and tennis court. Only problem: due to the Covid protocol (I assume the hotel), room cleaning and towel change are done every other day, but we asked reception to tidy our room every day with a complete change of towels and they satisfied us. We stayed 13 nights in a superior sea view bungalow, very large, with a separate room for our son and an equipped patio. Beach towels are provided and sun loungers with umbrella by the pool and lawn bordering the beach are free. Have a good stay in a quiet environment, in contact with nature.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Domes Aulus Zante, Autograph Collection, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our group of 8 friends from London, UK, gathered at this newly refurbished resort to celebrate two special birthdays, and our week-long stay was nothing short of magical. What truly elevated our stay was the outstanding service provided by the Guest Relations Supervisor. Their dedication to ensuring our experience was extraordinary went above and beyond any expectations. They personalised every moment, meticulously arranging our specific requests made in advance. From the breathtaking flowers that welcomed our birthday guests upon arrival to organising a private catamaran excursion and securing reservations for special dinners, the Guest Relations Supervisor’s attention to detail was unparalleled. The exceptional dedication and commitment of the Guest Relations Supervisor to ensuring our stay was memorable were evident not only in their meticulous attention to detail but also in their swift problem-solving skills. When we encountered issues with our room, including a broken clothes steamer and lack of warm water, they immediately stepped in to rectify the situation. Despite our initial hesitation to voice our concerns, their approachable demeanour made us feel comfortable sharing our issues. Upon informing them about the problems, they promptly arranged for us to be moved to a larger room with a delightful private terrace. This new room not only solved the water problems but also came equipped with a functional steaming iron, proving to be incredibly useful during our stay. We’re particularly grateful to the Guest Relations Supervisor for their thoughtful gesture of upgrading our accommodations, and their prompt actions ensured that our experience remained outstanding. Additionally, the thoughtfulness of the Guest Relations Supervisor extended to creating personalised souvenirs for our guests. When I inquired about gifting options, they not only provided a solution but went the extra mile by curating a beautiful bag filled with local specialties that truly captured the essence of Zante. This heartfelt touch resonated deeply with all of us, showcasing their dedication to ensuring our stay was not only comfortable but also genuinely memorable. The exceptional service and unwavering commitment of the Guest Relations Supervisor to guest satisfaction were key highlights of our experience at Domes Aulus Zante, making our celebration truly unforgettable. Their dedication, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests’ needs showcased their exemplary professionalism. We firmly believe that the efforts of the Guest Relations Supervisor should be well recognised, especially given their exceptional performance on an international level. We are immensely grateful for their contributions and the hotel’s overall commitment to guest happiness, leaving us with fond memories of our time at the resort. Th

Having visited this excellent hotel last May (2023) & having only one complaint which was the main bar & its manager, which were assured by Adrianos had been resolved we have decided to revisit this year on 4th May for 18 nights. We found it really comfortable with good food & staff, well appointed for Laganas & Kalamaki by walking along a long beach. We would recommend the hotel & its excellent staff.

The most welcoming hotel we have ever been to….. Let’s start at the beginning, I booked directly through the hotel and found this not only to be the cheapest option but also very efficient. On arrival to the hotel we were greeted by name by the lovely receptionist. The hotel itself is outstanding everything you would want for a relaxing getaway. Food was delicious and cocktails to a high standard. Thanks to ( Blerina) our lovely bartender, always made us feel special. As did most of the staff throughout the hotel. Our room was directly facing the ocean on ground level, what a beautiful view to wake up to each morning. I’ve no negatives about this hotel but if I could make one suggestion. It would’ve adding a small playground for the little ones.

On arrival staff we extremely welcoming - informative and friendly. We arrived at around 1pm but our room was not available until 3pm,this was not a problem for us (family of 3 - 2 adults and 1 12 year old). They took our mobile number and said they would ring us when room was ready. We explored the resort, had some drinks and lunch. At 3:30 we had a call to say room ready. Our cases and 12 year old were delivered to the room on a golf cart whilst we walked to the room with a hotel member. Room was clean and perfectly adequate for us (room 652). The room was only not cleaned once during our weeks stay and we told reception and by the time we got back to the room that night it had been cleaned. Guest relations regularly walk around asking if all is OK so you have plenty of opportunities to let them know if something is wrong. The hotel was at full capacity (first week of uk school holiday) and there were loads of Sun beds both around the pool and on the man made beach (between the pool and the actual beach) - we put our towels down at around 7-9am and we got the same spot every day but there were lots of beds available. It is not a rush for the beds every morning at all. Every day we had staff come around the Sun beds with donuts and bagels and sometimes juice from the juice bar. Drinks are fab both day and night. Food is as you always get on an all inclusive buffet - I would personally say quality was excellent but quantity not always! Massive shout out to Aggelos in the main dining area. He was amazing. Pitta outside restaurant - there was a bit of a wait for food, even though you have to have to book and if you want a shaded area you might have a wait. However food was delicious. Currently our last day - we have meza booked for lunch and Italian for dinner. Would advise you book restaurant as soon as you arrive via the app or else they do get booked up. We took a pedalo out 2 mornings and saw some turtles - so reasonable at 20 euros for 1 hour just up the beach. Sea and views stunning

On entering the gates you know you’re about to have a fabulous stay! Arrival at reception, bags are taken from you immediately and you’re asked to sit and relax as check in begins and a welcome drink provided. Once checked in you and your bags are escorted via golf buggy to your room. Our room was perfect for us, it was just my son and I. Plenty of room for clothes for the week. Plug sockets, USB points. The bathroom is small but perfectly formed and everything is cleaned to perfection. One suggestion for the rooms is to add more hooks to hand towels and wet swim wear, ours only had one at the back of the toilet door. The restaurants were lovely, the food delicious and extremely fresh, can not fault it for all inclusive. Lots of variety, with Greek additions too! If you like your eggs done in a specific way ask and they will be made for you, (a suggestion here would be that the hotel make this clearer to guests as many didn’t find it obvious). Our personal favourite restaurant was the Meze close to the beach, only open at lunch due to the proximity to the beach and so to not disturb any nesting loggerhead turtles. My favourite dish was the Seabass Ceviche - delicious!! That said we enjoyed all the restaurants!! It was disappointing that due to it being the last week of the season the Gyros truck was closed - we were so looking forward to trying them, instead we walked to Lagana’s and tried some there, they didn’t disappoint! The staff are incredible. Each and everyone no matter their role, clearly enjoys working there and takes pride in all they do. They bend over backwards for you and work so very hard always smiling and chatting and so attentive! For me the evening entertainment was perfect, just enough and not too much!! Providing background music for a relaxing, sociable evening playing cards with new friends. The bar staff work relentlessly, but always with a smile!! They were all amazing and the drinks spectacular, thank you for the recommendation of my new favourite ‘siesta’!! A suggestion here for the hotel is to incorporate a wrist band they do them now that are material and have your room key attached. This would help any member of staff serving the few ‘cool living’ drinks any confrontation with awkward guests and also enable the queue to move quicker as they have to check room numbers etc. The pool is NOT a funny colour, it has a lining, which obviously reflects up. It’s exceedingly clean, contrary to other reviews. The only downside is it isn’t heated and some children were too cold to get back in. I’ve no doubt this isn’t an issue at the height of season. Another suggestion for the hotel would be to offer cold facecloths once or twice a day by the pool, just a lovely discerning touch. The beach is stunning. The loggerhead turtle nests are clearly visible and if you’re lucky enough you may even get to see one or two hatch! Nature is amazing and that first journey the babies make is quite treacherous if you think

Thank you to the all the staff who turned around an initially disappointing start to make our holiday really fabulous. Having requested a garden room with twin beds, both on booking in January and confirming a few days prior to departure, on arrival we were given a room overlooking the carpark, with a double bed and fitted for a wheelchair user. I politely raised this at reception and pointed out that, having paid full price and having stayed at other Domes resports it was not what I would have hoped for. Denise and another person on reception (whose name I didn't get) were very understanding and moved us to a more suitable room the next day. From then on everything was great. I agree booking restaurants is not easy online however we thought the buffet was delicious (particularly for vegetarians), we loved having ice-cream by the pool, walking along the beach at sunrise (and the Sea Daffodils) and that everyone was always welcoming, polite and cheerful. Aggelos and Alex looked after us splendidly at mealtimes and poolside, Milo always had a smile. I completely understand the issues with not allowing loungers on the beach (which is amazing - warm and shallow) - I wish more hotels along the ***** were as responsible! I hope to visit again in the future.

We stayed as a family of 3 for a week from 25/07 - 01/08. Warm welcome by staff at the hotel, reception area clean, modern and spacious. Cocoon room 103 clean, perfect size for 2 persons but slightly cramped for us as a family of 3. Room complete with plenty of amenities (steamer, hairdryer, toiletries, television with chrome cast, mini bar refilled with bottled water, slippers, robe, scales, good air con, ceiling fan). We had at least 1 day with no hot water in the room but this was resolved fairly quickly after speaking with reception. Twice the fire alarms went off in the early hours, disturbing us on 2 separate nights which was annoying (I appreciate this can’t be helped when guests vape or smoke in their rooms). The lady on the desk wasn’t particularly empathetic when I attended to advise, however the customer service team were excellent, sending us a bottle of wine to our room and allowing us an additional booking at one of the a la carte restaurants. Plenty of choice at the buffet restaurant. We found lunch was better than evening meal. You’re not greeted and seated which occasionally led to drinks orders being delivered to the table after we’d finished our meal. This isn’t 5 star service in our opinion. Italian and grill restaurants both lovely. We chose to enjoy our meal at the grill outside, however the experience was spoilt due to wasps pestering us. We found the deserts were an area for improvement in all restaurants (lots of mousse type desserts with sponge cake, repetitive and boring). Pool area clean but extremely small, really needs to be extended. Pool bar service good. Self serve ice cream was great. No waiter service to order / deliver drinks. Guests reserve beds early without using them which is frustrating. Plenty of towels at the towel stations. Exterior of the hotel a little dull to look at, lots of dry patchy grassy scattered with a few small palm trees and bushes. However, the entrance area is better looked after and gives a good initial impression. Beautiful sandy beach. Warm, clear sea. Nice walk along the beach to Laganas ***** if that’s your thing. Very little entertainment other than a DJ / disco in the evening. Maybe a singer / band or some sort of act could be introduced, nothing crazy but just to add to an already relaxed atmosphere. Although this hotel is advertised as 5 star, I feel that there’s room for improvement to really fulfil that 5 star rating (waiter service around the pool, improving the pool area, entertainment and quality of deserts, create a more aesthetic exterior). For us, there were just a few things lacking to rate it a 5. That said, we would return if looking for a quiet, chilled week away.
