When I go to the Moselle region, I know what to expect in terms of environment. We like to do more solid trips and then it is important afterwards to be able to enjoy a nice hotel with good food and a pleasant room. Hence we chose a 4 star hotel. But this was not what we expected. We had a run down room which was small and uncozy which I would describe as a broom room and a brownish small bathroom. There was also a lot of noise around the room. Dinner was okay, but we have to eat at fixed times, ie either at 6 or 8 pm. If you went to eat at 6 pm, you had to eat everything on time because the next class was already drumming. Getting rushed on your vacation? Not really great. The plus points were the different wines, the soups and/or the starters. The breakfast was okay but in a lesser way graced by 2 slightly older ladies who often almost flew into each other's hair verbally and this with the necessary decibels. Good morning, uh ... The coffee machine was a sacred thing that you were not allowed to touch :-) Another downside was that there were not enough tables here and we had to wait regularly. The parking spaces were also very small and if free in the back very tight. We were forced to pay a little more for our parking. I have no problem with that if this is also communicated in advance! So in the end I don't think this is worthy of 4 stars.
