My kids are on spring break and planning a vacation to Lake Tahoe. Because of the dog, and the eldest daughter wants to have a room by herself. Thousands of choices, I chose this hotel. Before arriving at the hotel, I felt that it was a bit far from the south shore of Lake Tahoe. After arriving, I felt that it was too good value. The hotel built in 1862 should be from the Qing Dynasty in China. The hotel is in a valley wetland, and there are many water birds around. The internal facilities are quite new, the area is super large, you can cook, and the family feels very comfortable. Facing the sun on the balcony in the morning, breathing fresh air, drinking a cup of coffee, and looking at the snow-capped mountains in the distance, it is really pleasant.

Full time staff was extremely rude in all areas. The only decent customer service received was our waitress at the restauraunt. I've been frequenting this resort for over 12 years and have never been treated so poorly as a guest.

We loved the Hot Springs! Especially we loved Steve the worker by the pools. He was really nice, communicative, hard working, and positive man.

We arrived shortly after a recent snowstorm and in very cold weather. The driveways and walkways were quite icy. It was clear that the resort was doing their best to salt the areas and make it safe for driving and walking.

We have stayed here before and likely will again. Room remodeled but old carpets in bedroom that could use a shampoo. This is part of a hot springs that charges extra even if you are a guest. Then the hotel charges another $20 resort fee. Not sure what for. Restaurant closed Monday and Tuesday which is not convenient for guests. This is a timeshare and they make you go to concierge for parking pass and room key so they can enroll you in a sales session.

This place is the perfect weekend getaway. I was under the impression that you have to pay for the stay and the hot springs. That’s not the case. When you have a room the hot springs are included. The restaurant was amazing! The ambiance and the food did not disappoint. The view is stunning. I would definitely come back.
