The hotel is perfect. At first when I look at the photos, I thought it would be a cozy small wooden room which is a little bit worn out. But no! Everything is so new and clean. The location is perfect! Center of everything! Breakfast got a wide range of choices too. Staff are nice. One downside of the hotel is that for me, the pillow is wayyy too flat. I have to put the towels from the bathroom under the pillow. Other than that, perfect!

The hotel is located on the main street of Zermatt, just a two-minute walk after getting off the train, which is very convenient.
The room is large in size, decorated in an elegant and comfortable style, and has a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. The only inconvenience is that there is a beam above the bed that is easy to hit your head because of the sloped roof. It takes a few times to get used to it before you notice it⚠️

Convient location. accommodation European compact, not very big. Hotel had some kind of maintenance going on that kept me up one night, most of the night. When I told the front desk the woman was indifferent and acted like it was my imagination. I am a construction professional, I know construction noise. I also had a door that the lock was out of adjustment, you had to pull or push while using a key, again, indifferent. The key thing was scary, in a fire it very well would be a problem.

Came for four days with brother and teenage son. Perfect location at cosy main street, 4 min walk from trainstation. Extremely friendly staff, fresh breakfast and clean rooms. Enjoyed evenings in front of the fireplace in the hotel bar. Spa with sauna newly renovated.

We loved our stay at The Pollux, beautiful rooms, great location. A wonderful breakfast was included. We had dinner one night at their downstairs restaurant, delicious traditional Swiss fair. The room was a little warm and the location a little noisy to have the windows open. We would recommend and stay here again.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were so nice and accommodating. The food was fabulous. Close to everything. We would stay here again if we come back to Zermatt. We liked that the train station was close.
