The hotel was easy to find and its about 500 meters from the national park gate.
The room was clean and spacious with free bottled water everyday.
The staff was also helpful in booking on the ticket or the taxi to go around the town with discounted price rather than booking online.
There is also a lot of cheap supermarket and restaurant just about 1km from the hotel. don't buy anything from the supermarket near the gate as its expensive

We had an excellent stay at Tianchong Yunhai, it is a short walk to the East gate of Zhangjiajie national park, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The room is clean and the breakfast is good as well. The shower and water pressure is good.

very good hotel! located in a convenient location for visiting the national park. The rooms are comfortable. The owner of the hotel is very responsive. she helped me with transfer from/to the train station, and helped me with a guide for visiting the park.

Good location (walkable to the park gate), friendly and helpful staff, though the swimming pool was broken (and looked like it had been broken for a while with no water) and there were insects splattered on the wall.

Perfect location for entering Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It's only a 10 min walk to the entrance, which really helped us get in early and beat the crowds.
The room was big and comfortable, but maybe a little dated.
Staff were very welcoming and helped us with things like washing laundry.
Don't expect luxury but it's a great place to spend a few nights and maximise your time in Zhangjiajie.

This hotel is exceptional in it's location and is very clean. The staff are exceptional and as a foreigner working here in China that is vety helpful. The room is minimal in style but tasteful. There could be some reading lights near the bed but other than that all good.

The hotel has good sanitary conditions and a simple decoration style. The hotel is also equipped with teapots and teacups, which is a good experience. It is very close to Zhangjiajie International Forest Park, which is very suitable for friends who need to get up early to climb the mountain. The hotel also gave a map guide, which is very practical!
