Eryatou Inn (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park) Reviews

They were very welcoming and ensured all their guest were comfortable. My train arrived much later than their closing time, but they were easy to accommodate with and left instructions for my friends and I to have a smooth arrival. Although we had to checkout, they allowed us to leave our luggage with them while we waited for our next train. Above all they were very clean, organized, welcoming, the location was perfect, and there are even discounts you can get at other restaurants just by showing them your room card!

The receptionist is amazing, very very kind and speaks great English. The room is spacious, clean and the amenities are great. Great stay. She gave us an amazing itinerary for the avatar mountains with great indications.

Apartment location is good, very easy to enter the park from here, street shopping is very near ... we like the property ...

The receptionists are very helpful and friendly by showing you many ways to enjoy Zhangjiajie National Park. If you contact them in advance they can buy for you the tickets at best prices. Everything for a trekking traveler is well set up in this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the Eryatou Hotel in Zhangjiajie. The location was excellent, and the room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Everything was well organized, and the hotel had a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for the excellent experience.

The hotel is very close to Wulingyuan East gate (only 500m away). The rooms are very spacious and beautiful. The hotel staff knows English and is really helpful. They will also explain the entire path to follow in the national park to visit key scenic points. The hotel also has elevator, microwave at the reception and washing and drying machines at Level 6. It has multiple convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Best value for money. Strongly recommended.

This inn is conveniently located near the East Gate of the Forest Park, just about a 5-minute walk away. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The room was clean and tidy, and it even had a washing machine and dryer. The young lady at the reception was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic; she meticulously helped us plan our itinerary using a map. Plus, having a fridge and microwave was a huge bonus. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect stay! The highlight were the 2 girls at the reception that made our stay!! They speak amazing english, are super nice and extremely helpful regarding tickets, routes and how to plan for the park visits. We got the tickets with them via WeChat before we left our country and was absolutely easy and the price was also below the official one. Recommend it 200%, don’t think twice about doing it with them for the park, Tianmen mountain etc.. The location is 5 min walking from the east gate, the street is very lively in the evening, full of restaurants and a nice massage place in front. The rooms were nice and big, beds confy and nice shower. As improvement, I think the hotel is below its potential. They have a coffee zone that isn’t used, they could also serve breakfast and make a better use of the facilities and also renovate them. But well that’s just my personal opinion. Wouldn’t doubt staying here again

The location is quite convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the East Gate! Going to the South Gate is a bit far, you'll need to take a shuttle within the scenic area to get there. We experienced Zhangjiajie's heavy rain – one minute it was pouring, the next it was sunny! It's so unpredictable, definitely bring a raincoat! The monkeys are very cute; if you don't bother them, they won't attack you. Also, we rode the cable car so much these past two days we almost got sick!

Stunning location, clean modern room and within walking distance of the East Gate. Staff were super helpful and helped plan out our route for the park which was amazing as the park is so big! Would stay again.

Extremely satisfied! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from the East Gate. The front desk lady was very friendly and always smiling. The hygiene was good, and the air conditioning was powerful. Highly recommend!

First of all, I want to thank the girl who is working at reception. If you are reading this, you are amazing 🫶🏼🫶🏼 She helped us with booking the tickets in advance, gave us a discount, explained the detailed route around the park. She speaks good English, so the communication was very easy. The room Itself was very clean, quiet and the location is 5 minute walk to the East Gate. The location is perfect, there are lots of restaurants nearby. It’s 10 min walk to the bus station.
