Zhangjiakou Fulong Fengling Yuegu Fanwoods Hotel

Let me start with my overall impression: I'd choose Fulong again, but I wouldn't want to stay in this particular building again. We were assigned to Building 20. Walking from the B1 commercial center felt like being banished to Ningguta. At night, returning to the room meant walking through the dark, non-existent lobby of Building 20 and waiting in a dimly lit elevator area. We were on the 5th floor, the top floor, but due to some unknown issue with the building's structure or staircase, the children next door running around day and night made me feel every single thump. As someone with sleep problems, you can imagine how frustrating that was… The second thing I want to complain about is the bed design shown in the picture. I literally bumped into it and brought tears to my eyes late at night… Everything else was pretty good. The cleanliness was up to par, the service was excellent, the room had a washing machine, and parking was free. Oh, and by the way, the breakfast at the French restaurant wasn't good…

This was my second stay at Hotel Hwago, and the butler proactively added me on WeChat beforehand to ask about my preferred room type and car registration, which was excellent service. The hotel's location is super convenient, right at the foot of Fulong Mountain. Even though it's a bit chilly at night this time of year, the hotel room was very warm. Overall, it's a good value-for-money hotel and worth recommending.

Facilities: Well-equipped and excellent. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy. Environment: Beautiful. Service: Great service, issues resolved promptly. Underground shopping street sightseeing train (free ride): The 'ding-ding' tram and small cars in the shopping street are always available.

This is our second time bringing our child to Chongli for cycling, and also our second stay at the Huanhuo Hotel. The room was clean and hygienic, the bed was comfortable for sleeping, and there were no strange odors in the room. They provided breakfast for two, and it was convenient for getting around. The service staff were exceptionally friendly. Many thanks for their attentive hospitality over the past few days.

The soundproofing in this hotel is absolutely terrible. You can hear everything from the hallway crystal clear. The first night, kids were running and screaming up and down the hall. The second day, a kid next door was banging and kicking the door in the hallway, completely unsupervised. We had to go out ourselves to tell them off, which led to an argument with the guests. The hotel staff did nothing to resolve the situation to our satisfaction, completely ignoring the problem. The hotel management is truly awful, and no compensation was offered. If you're looking for a quiet stay, seriously, do NOT book this place. It's way too noisy.

Our family stayed at the Fulong Refreshing Hotel in Chongli during the Mid-Autumn Festival with our child, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations! Before leaving, I saw a few reviews that made me a bit worried about the room and the cleanliness of the Polar Bear Fun Park, but our actual stay was great. The Polar Bear Fun Park is huge with a wide variety of activities, and our baby loved it so much they didn't want to leave. There are also 3 pump tracks in the park, perfect for kids to cycle on. I also just learned that you can do downhill biking here in the summer. I saw quite a few people doing it and it made me eager to try, but unfortunately, I couldn't book a coach this time, which was a small regret. The autumn scenery in the town is beautiful, and even though it wasn't ski season yet, the ski slope conditions were clear to see. The resort facilities are comprehensive, with amusement rides, an underground commercial street, and complete ski facilities. It's incredibly close to Chongli county town, making it very convenient to go there for meals. Our family had a fully satisfying one-stop experience for dining, lodging, and entertainment. Although the hotel details might be slightly below those of a top luxury hotel, the overall value for money is excellent. We look forward to coming back for skiing in winter!

Everything was great! We didn't even need to leave the Four Seasons Town for our two-day, one-night stay, as it had everything from dining and entertainment to accommodation. The scenery was absolutely beautiful! We could even play with the polar bears indoors when it rained. The hotel staff was also incredibly nice. Guests get free rides on the train and vintage cars, and our driver, Master Liu, provided excellent service!

As autumn deepens, the town's unique scenery truly shines, and my stay at the Huanyue Hotel was an excellent overall experience. The room was comfortable, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The hotel's photo spots were very creative, making every shot picture-perfect. A special thanks to Hannah for her thoughtful and meticulous service throughout my stay; it was both detailed and heartwarming, adding so much joy to my trip. I highly recommend everyone to come and experience it!

I was torn between Fulong and Taiwoo for a while, and finally chose to stay at Fulong. And I feel like I made the right choice! 🥳🥳 Before I came, I saw many reviews for this Fulong hotel saying that the hygiene was poor, check-in took over an hour, the shower pressure was tiny, and the service attitude was bad, etc... However, this time, I didn't experience any of that. First, I booked a Lakeside Room. The hotel front desk said there were only two rooms of this type. Considering we were traveling with a child, this room layout with one double bed and one single bed perfectly suited our family of three. Second, I saw that check-in wasn't until 3 PM, so we decided to go straight to Cuiyun Mountain for some fun after arriving in Chongli. Around 2 PM, the hotel called me to let me know the room was ready for check-in anytime. They even thoughtfully added me on WeChat and gave me some tips from our check-in butler. Third, our check-in took less than 5 minutes, parking was free the whole time, and three meals were included, which was great. The hotel overall was good, and the balcony offered a direct view of the lake, which was very comfortable. Here are some things I need to complain about: 1. The carpet under the sofa was absolutely filthy (I didn't take photos because I didn't want to upset anyone, but there was all sorts of dirt on it – clearly hadn't been vacuumed). 2. Two of the hangers were broken. Why haven't they been replaced? 3. There were a lot of wood splinters on the balcony railing. This is due to wear and tear from the elements, but it's very easy to get pricked in the arm or hand when trying to take a picture of the lake view. They should repair and clean up these splinters. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel. I even specifically recommended this room type to two other families with kids. And the breakfast was really excellent! 👍👍
