DoubleTree by Hilton Zhuhai Hengqin

Booked the Hilton near the port to watch the Macau fireworks. I always feel very confident staying at chain hotels, and the bedding here was really comfortable. The front desk staff, Xiao Hu, was also incredibly thoughtful. Big brands really do guarantee quality.

This isn't my first time staying at this hotel, and once again, the front desk service was excellent. The room had great natural light, was clean and tidy, and the hotel's location is super convenient for getting around. It's just a few minutes' walk to Hengqin Port.

Facilities: Comprehensive and well-equipped. Cleanliness: Very clean. Ambiance: Good. Service: Excellent. We paid to upgrade to a suite, which was fantastic. It had a long sofa in the outer room and a king-sized bed in the inner room, plus two bathrooms, so family members didn't disturb each other. The toilet, shower, and bathtub in the bathroom were all separate, making it very convenient to use, and the bathtub was large and super comfortable. The water temperature was great. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the room. Upon check-in, we received complimentary snacks, which tasted exceptionally good, and our child loved them. Breakfast was also good and quite extensive. For someone from the north, the flavors were a bit on the mild side. There's a pool table in the lobby on the first floor, which is a nice option if you're waiting. All the staff members were very friendly. Special thanks to the front desk staff who checked us in and the bellhops who helped with our luggage.

The room wasn't the biggest, but the layout was well-designed, and the room type I chose offered an open view. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful. It's just a 5-minute walk to the west gate of Hengqin Port. The breakfast selection was average and not very varied; I hope there's more choice next time.

The hotel is located just a few hundred meters from Hengqin Port. The room was clean, and the service was excellent. They even upgraded me to a suite for free! 😇 Whatever I needed, the front desk was quick to respond and delivered it right away.

I was pleasantly surprised by how new and clean the hotel was. The view overlooking Hengqin was amazing, and it was quiet with fewer people around. Cycling in the area was very comfortable, and there's also a food court. Since we transferred here from the Marriott in the city center on our last day, this hotel felt much newer in comparison. For two five-star hotels, the Marriott felt a bit dated.
