I'd like to introduce an outlet shop inside LA Dodger Stadium where you can buy all merchandise at 50% off! The location is to the right when facing away from the left field entrance. There's an elevator to the top floor, but there's always a long line there. (You shouldn't use this elevator.) Further beyond that elevator, there's a staircase. If you go up those stairs, you'll see the "50% OFF" merchandise shop along the way. This is also a popular shop, so you'll need to wait in line to enter. I waited for about 15-20 minutes. The items on sale are mainly 2025 and 2024 models. The Dodgers cap in the top image was also taken at this outlet shop. We had a couple of days in Los Angeles before kicking off a massive American road trip. Instead of trying to see it all, we handpicked the spots we were dying to check out. Our route ended up being pretty classic, but honestly, I’d probably do it exactly the same way if I went back. Venice Beach For us, this was one of those spots we'd seen in so many movies and video games that we just had to experience it IRL. We parked near the beach and hit the famous boardwalk. There’s a skate park with massive ramps, outdoor courts, and those iconic workout bars right on the sand. You’ve got people working out, skating, and putting on street performances. We even spotted a girl doing acrobatics on gymnastics rings. You can just stroll along the ocean, chill on the swings, and wander a bit deeper into the neighborhood. The legendary Gold’s Gym Venice is right around the corner. Stas was super hyped to work out there because of its history and the whole Schwarzenegger legacy, so we knocked out both spots in one day. I’d easily block out half a day for Venice Beach. Griffith Observatory Another spot I’d highly recommend checking out! Plus, admission is free) You get killer views of LA and the Hollywood sign from up here. We actually wanted to do more than just look at the sign—we wanted to hike right up to the letters. We hit the trails and tried to find a way through, but eventually ran into restricted areas, snake warnings, and threats of hefty fines😵💫 So, if you just want to see the Hollywood sign and snap some aesthetic pics, save yourself the hours of trying to sneak up close 😅 Beverly Hills We hit up Beverly Hills that same evening. I wouldn’t burn a whole day on it if you’re short on time. It makes way more sense to pair it with Hollywood or just cruise through it while driving around the city. It’s mostly just cool for a scenic drive to check out the neighborhood, the palm-lined streets, the massive mansions, and that quintessential LA vibe you picture before visiting. Oh, and by the way, there are literal coyotes roaming the streets here! I was absolutely shook when I saw them😱 Hollywood Walk of Fame Now, this is where our expectations didn’t exactly match reality. Obviously, if it’s your first time in LA, you gotta stroll down the Walk of Fame, spot some familiar names, and see it all for yourself. Which is exactly what we did. But the area itself turned out to be way less glamorous than it looks in the movies. Aside from the tourists and the stars on the sidewalk, there were quite a few homeless people and, to put it mildly, some really sketchy characters. It was cool to see once, but I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to visit a second time. If you’ve only got two days, here’s how I’d map it out: Day 1: Venice Beach + Gold’s Gym + oceanfront stroll. Day 2: Griffith Observatory + Hollywood sign + Beverly Hills + sunset. I’d squeeze the Hollywood Walk of Fame into day one after the beach, and I highly recommend leaving some time to hit up some local cafes. Because a few of the spots that really left an impression on us in LA weren't even landmarks—they were all about the food 😅 I’ll spill all the details on that in my next post
