If you visit Boracay, you can choose to fly to the closer Caticlan MPH Airport or the further Kalibo Airport. Caticlan seems to be a more convenient but more expensive. After your flight arrives, you can take tricycle to Tabon Port or walk 2km. Note that the boat to Boracay now leaves from Tabon Port, NOT Caticlan Port like in the past. I made a mistake by going to Caticlan Port first and realised that it is more for RORO and other marine purposes. By this mistake, I had an opportunity to see the Caticlan Town a bit. It is the last place you can stock up some food and essential items before you get on a boat to Boracay, where everything is expensive.

The pool area is especially outstanding, featuring a sunlit infinity pool paired with the Tropicafe restaurant by the poolside—I honestly didn’t want to leave the hotel. Additionally, the hotel thoughtfully offers full SPA services, so you can enjoy a massage when tired, super relaxing. The front desk is very efficient; upon check-in, there’s a welcome drink, flower garlands, and candies. The in-room WiFi is good and fully sufficient, and the minibar and various amenities are well-equipped—small but complete~ 🍽️✨Breakfast is served buffet style every day. Although the variety isn’t huge, it covers basic Asian and Western breakfast options, especially freshly made eggs and bacon served directly to the table, making breakfast feel very personal! Here's a clear algorithm to avoid getting stuck: -Exit the airport: Immediately after claiming your luggage, you'll find yourself in a small terminal. Ignore anyone offering a "transfer with a tour" or a "hotel for the night." -Road to the port: From the airport exit to the Caticlan Jetty Port is literally a leisurely 5-10-minute walk. You can rent a tricycle (a motorcycle with a sidecar), but if you only have a backpack, the walk will be even faster than finding a driver. Follow the signs or just follow the crowd of tourists with beach bags. -Port (Jetty Port): This is your checkpoint. Here you'll need to complete a short quest: 1. Pay the terminal fee: A few dozen pesos. Look for the window marked "Terminal Fee." 2. Pay the environmental fee: This is the entrance fee to Boracay Island itself. Be sure to keep the receipt! 3.
