The Best Resort in Anda, Bohol

If you are looking to escape the crowds of Panglao, head east to Can-umantad Falls in Candijay. It’s a long journey (about 2.5 hours each way), but the winding roads and mountain views make it worth every minute. Visitor Essentials: Cost: 20 PHP entry. If you visit the adjacent Cadapdapan Rice Terraces (highly recommended), there is an additional 20 PHP fee. The Hike: There are roughly 200–400 steps down. They can be very slippery after rain, so wear shoes with good grip. Facilities: There are basic changing areas and small huts for rent if you want to stay for lunch. Top Tip: Go early! If you arrive before 10:00 AM, you’ll likely have the lower pools all to yourself. Handy "Saveable" Info for your Graphics/Stories If you want to add a "Save This" slide at the end of your reel, use these quick stats: Drive Time: 2.5h from Panglao / 1h from Anda. Best Time: 8 AM – 11 AM. Price: 20 PHP. Proximity: 5 mins from Cadapdapan Rice Terraces. #philippines #hiddengem #bohol #travel2026

A world wonder that deserves a spot on your bucket list! I’m inviting you to discover a serene, "slow-life" journey with million-dollar views at the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra, India. This masterpiece by the Yamuna River is a memorial of love, crafted into the world’s most exquisite Mughal architectural paradise. The atmosphere is incredibly soul-soothing; you can breathe in the crisp air, feel the cool, misty breeze, and let your eyes rest upon the ultimate beauty. The true masterpiece of this trip is the structure itself—a towering monument of pure white marble. For the perfect "content" shot, frame your photo looking directly through the "Great Gate" (Red Sandstone Gateway). The late morning sunlight illuminates the palace and its rounded domes, making them appear to float against the vast horizon. Don't miss the intricate Pietra Dura art—colorful pastel floral patterns inlaid with precious stones—and the elegant Arabic calligraphy lining the arched alcoves. As you stroll along the warm, granite-paved paths, you’ll notice that the site is impeccably maintained and very clean. With tight security and well-managed walkways, the experience is both safe and awe-inspiring. Seeing this grand, heart-warming spectacle in person is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won't want to miss! Masterpiece Highlights & Photo Spots: · The Taj Mahal through the Great Gate (Darwaza-i-rauza) and Panoramic Garden Views: This is the world-famous iconic shot. The sunlight accentuates the perfect symmetry of the arches while the lush greenery and soft clouds provide a stunning backdrop. A wide-angle landscape photo here will be the crown jewel of your trip. · Marble Calligraphy and Sun-drenched Pastel Corridors: A must for portrait enthusiasts! The granite courtyard in front of the monument is perfect as the angled sunlight highlights the botanical stone inlays and makes your outfit pop. These vertical shots capture a sense of peace and a compelling travel story. 💡 Traveler Tips & Essential Info: · A UNESCO World Heritage Wonder: Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The grounds are exceptionally clean and well-secured. The breathtaking views and clear skies make it a spectacular destination in any season. · Tips: Because the layout is an expansive, sun-drenched outdoor area, bring a hat, sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes. (Note: The site regulations require you to wear shoe covers before stepping onto the marble platform to preserve the stone). For the best photos, wear vibrant colors like orange, red, or pastel Indian attire to create a stunning contrast against the pristine white marble.

I used to think Harbin was the only place worth visiting in Northeast China, but I ended up stopping by Suihua for five days. I was blown away by the prices and scenery here every single day, and it took me a long time to recover after coming back. 📍Trip Highlights Wangkui Manchu Folk Garden, Anda Cold Region Hot Spring, Suihua Forest Botanical Garden, and Xiwahuang Wetland. All of these are off the beaten path—few crowds, great scenery, and every photo is Instagram-worthy. The Cold Region Hot Spring in Anda, in particular, left me feeling completely refreshed. 🗓️Itinerary Day 1: Take a bus from Harbin to downtown Suihua, stroll along Zhongxing Street, and enjoy an authentic stewed dish. Day 2: Travel from Suihua to Wangkui, visit the Manchu Folk Garden and see the paper-cutting art, and experience Shaman culture. Day 3: Travel from Suihua to Anda, soak in the cold region hot spring, explore Niu Street, and watch the stars at night. 🍜Food Recommendations Suihua rice, Lanxi hanging noodles, sticky bean buns, and "pig slaughter" stew (shazhucai). Everything is cheap and served in large portions; you can eat your fill for just a few dozen yuan per person. ⚠️Travel Tips The temperature difference between day and night in Northeast China is significant, so remember to bring a jacket. It's more cost-effective to bring your own swimsuit for the hot springs. Transportation to some attractions can be inconvenient, so renting a car or carpooling is recommended.

September Milk Town Autumn Quest | 2-Day 1-Night Anda Grassland & Wetland Hidden Gem Guide In September, Anda is crisp and refreshing, with the breeze of the Songnen Plain carrying a faint scent of milk through the streets. As the "Hometown of Chinese Dairy Cows," this century-old small city, which rose to prominence due to the Chinese Eastern Railway, hides the nostalgic charm of old Russian-style architecture, the healing serenity of reed-filled wetlands, and the rustic, cozy atmosphere of a cheese town. Without crowds of tourists, you'll find only authentic Northeast dairy flavors and the autumn spirit of the plains—perfect for those who enjoy slow travel and niche, down-to-earth experiences. Day 1: Stroll through the century-old railway station, autumn picking at Guda Lake Wetland In the morning, head straight to the Russian-style architectural complex in front of the station. Anda Station was built in 1901, and the surrounding area still preserves over 60 century-old Russian-style staff residences, with yellow walls, red roofs, stone foundations, and wooden window frames that show the weathering of time. Walk slowly along the old street in front of the station, where you might occasionally see courtyards drying corn; every snapshot has a vintage film texture. No need to specifically look for photo spots—just step on the fallen sycamore leaves on the street, listen to the distant train whistles, and feel the vibrant, everyday life of the century-old railway. For lunch, find an old-school restaurant in the city center. You must order the local milk tofu—fresh milk fermented until dense and slightly tart, then pan-fried until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a milky aroma that hits you right away. Pair it with a pot of beef stewed with potatoes; the portion is hearty and goes perfectly with rice, and you can eat your fill for around 40 yuan per person. In the afternoon, drive for about 20 minutes to Guda Lake National Wetland Park. September is the season when the reed sea turns yellow. The wooden boardwalk winds through the water, and the wind makes the reeds ripple in layers, occasionally startling water birds into flight toward the sky. It is very uncrowded; the entire boardwalk is occasionally occupied only by a few local elderly people taking a walk. It is so quiet that you can only hear the wind and birdsong—a perfect way to refresh your lungs and de-stress. In the evening, return to the city to visit the Liudao Street Night Market. Try the local time-honored "Tete" ice cream; the fresh milk flavor is rich, and the taste hasn't changed in over 20 years. Then, grab a few fluffy Qixing steamed buns, take a bite in the evening breeze, and soak in the solid, down-to-earth atmosphere of the small city. Day 2: Tasting in the cheese town, leisurely walk on the grassland On the second day, drive for half an hour to the Cheese Town in Youyi Village, Xianyuan Township. This is the birthplace of the first domestic cheese in New China, where Soviet technicians left behind their handmade cheese-making craft in the early years. In the town, Russian-style wooden houses are scattered along the edge of the pasture, windmills turn slowly, and you can see black-and-white dairy cows grazing by the roadside. You can visit the dairy exhibition hall to see old cheese-making tools, or try your hand at stirring milk skin, and taste a piece of freshly made original yogurt—so thick it clings to the spoon, with a pure milky aroma. No need to rush; walk slowly along the pasture trail, where the air is filled with the scent of grass and milk, offering a fully healing experience. For lunch, have a "full milk feast" at a local farmhouse in the town: milk-baked rice, milk tofu buns, and stewed fish in milk sauce—every bite carries the fresh fragrance of the grassland. You can eat to your heart's content for about 50 yuan per person. On the way back in the afternoon, you can take a detour to the edge of the Qingkenpao Grassland to see the scenery. In September, the sheep grass turns golden, and windmills line the distance. You don't need to go deep; just standing by the road and looking at the vast autumn scenery of the plains is enough. Once you've had your fill, head back at a leisurely pace. Practical tips · Transportation: Travelers from out of town can take a high-speed train directly to Anda Station. The starting taxi fare in the city is 5 yuan. For trips to the wetland and cheese town, self-driving or chartering a car is recommended, as road conditions are very good. · Accommodation: Choose an express hotel near the station in the city center. They are cost-effective at around 100 yuan, making it convenient for strolling the old streets and catching trains. · Clothing: The temperature difference between morning and evening in September is large, and the wind in the wetlands and grasslands is cool. Remember to bring a windproof light jacket and wear comfortable sports shoes for walking on the boardwalks. · Note: Most of the old buildings are residential homes, so please do not disturb the residents when taking photos. When in the wetland, stay on the boardwalk and do not disturb the water birds. The whole trip costs just over 600 yuan per person for a comfortable experience, featuring culture, nature, and the scent of milk. With few crowds and quiet scenery, it is a rare, hidden treasure in western Heilongjiang.

Beauty really has nothing to do with skin color. The treasures in the Gardens by the Bay dome are the wildflowers you can find everywhere here. Iranja looks good in photos, but the actual water clarity is just average. The French food in the capital is delicious 😋 10 days on the Isla del Madagascar felt a bit too short; you could only do a quick look around. I feel this isn't really suitable for those who want to experience the scenery along the way, because there's not much to do. For Andasibe, if you have a large group, you can hire a car for 45k for two days; if you have a small group, you can just take a taxi, 23k one way. Regarding lemur parks: Parc Mitsinjo requires hiking to see large lemurs. Project Manondroala is almost entirely flat. PALMARIUM is said to have more surprises, but it's not in Andasibe.

There is an ancient city in Heihe City, Aihui Ancient City, which was built under the order of Emperor Kangxi. It is now Aihui Town, and a historical exhibition hall has been built here, which basically displays real events in the history of China and Russia. The Aihui Exhibition Hall is not very big. There is a big clock engraved with "Aihui Treaty 1858" hanging on the gate, reminding us at all times. After entering the gate, there is a 200-meter-long cement road which leads to the exhibition hall. On the left side of the exhibition hall, a small section of what is said to be the old city wall is preserved, and a new "Kui Xing Tower" has been built. The exhibition hall authentically restores the scenes of the signing of two treaties, one is the Treaty of Aihui and the other is the Treaty of Nerchinsk. It also shows scenes of several tragedies. The biggest tragedy is the half-view of the "Hailanpao Massacre", which shows the Russian army shooting and driving Chinese residents into the Heilongjiang River. It is outrageous! After leaving the exhibition hall, there is another "Warning Bell Wall" and a memorial pine tree 🌲 that is said to have been planted after the signing of the Treaty of Aihui.
