Continue past the shopping centre, taking the first left turn after the traffic lights to Observation Avenue at the top of the hill. Stairs on the western side lead down to Corrigans Beach. This lookout boasts fabulous views westward overlooking the beach and out to Snapper Island and northeast to the Tollgate Islands. This lookout will form the gateway to the Coastal Headlands Walking Trail, a 14.5 kilometre track that will link the headlands and beaches between Batehaven and McKenzies Beach.
