We recently came back from a 10-night stay at this hotel and had a wonderful time. We'd absolutely consider staying here again. Upon arrival at the reception area, we were welcomed by large windows overlooking Santa Ponsa bay. We received a complimentary glass of mimosa and were promptly checked in by a friendly receptionist. Our room was on the top floor, on the same level as reception, and classified as standard. It was spacious, and the view from the balcony was stunning. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided each day. However, we had a few minor issues: the toilet was positioned too close to the shower, the wardrobe didn’t have space for hanging longer dresses, storage was limited, and the bathtub appeared old and slightly worn. We stayed on a half-board basis and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Breakfast options were excellent, and each evening featured a different theme. Unfortunately, the themes repeated weekly instead of rotating over two weeks, but we appreciated the flexibility of swapping dinner for lunch on days we planned to dine out. A delightful touch was receiving free cocktails almost every day, whether during daytime or evening, even as half-board guests. The pool was clean and ample in size, and having direct access to the sea for swimming was a fantastic bonus. Sunbeds tended to fill up by around 10am, though the breathtaking views from the pool area made it worth spending time there. Additionally, there’s a supermarket just five minutes’ walk from the hotel and various bars and restaurants nearby. A coastal path close to the hotel leads to the main part of Santa Ponsa, which takes about 15–20 minutes on foot. However, Santa Ponsa itself wasn’t quite our preference, as it felt highly touristy and reminded us a bit of Benidorm in some areas. Despite that, we managed to find a few lovely restaurants. We appreciated the hotel’s water filters for bottle refilling and the convenience of the Iberostar app. Using the app, we could easily message reception to swap dinner for lunch, and they arranged it immediately. It was also helpful for tracking our bill, allowing us to check food and drink charges after ordering. Lastly, the staff at this hotel were exceptional—hardworking and incredibly friendly. Their efforts greatly contributed to our enjoyable stay.

Planning a summer weekend in Benidorm with one full day to play. We’re into big thrills and a bit of theme-y atmosphere, and the heat is real. Absolutely brilliant hotel. We’ve just returned from 11 nights and I don’t have a single complaint. It was myself, another adult, and two teens. Just 100 meters from the beach, with excellent food, a great pool atmosphere, and entertainment that, while hit-and-miss, was decent overall. The humidity was unique, and every day was over 30°C, making it undeniably warm. The staff were exceptional, especially Deniz—such a great guy. While the resort was quieter compared to what we’re used to, I didn’t mind it at all. I’d prefer Sa Coma’s laid-back vibe over Benidorm’s energy, though somewhere in between would be ideal. My only critique is that once dinner ends at 9:30 PM, there’s no food available in the hotel. If you miss dinner or need a late-night snack, you’ll have to head out to a bar or shop. Overall, I’d rate this experience a 9.5/10.

While the beach bar is privately owned and somewhat pricey—a small bottle of water costs €3.50—it sells ice lollies and snacks without reflecting negatively on the hotel. Exiting the hotel's main entrance reveals nearby dining and entertainment options. Walking right brings you to a couple of bars just 100 yards away, while heading left leads to a lively beach vibe spot called 5Oceanos. Here, you’ll find a relaxed atmosphere along with delightful food and cocktails. Adjacent to 5Oceanos is a local shop stocking beach essentials, and just around the corner lies the Bonaire seafood restaurant and bar by the marina—a perfect spot to unwind. The charming Old Town is accessible by a 25-minute walk or a €7 taxi ride, and it’s worth visiting for its delightful bars, restaurants, and vibrant Tuesday market. For a contrasting experience, New Town Alcudia offers a bustling Benidorm-like atmosphere and can be reached by a €12 taxi ride. Its beach and sea are equally pristine, adding to its appeal. The hotel goes above and beyond in guest services, including reception arranging taxis and hire cars to be delivered and retrieved right from the hotel without additional charges. Meanwhile, the extraordinary staff throughout the property deserve a special mention, notably Mika for her thoughtful care. The entire team contributes to creating a flawless experience, maintaining a spotless and high-standard hotel environment. Relaxation is enhanced by the serene pool area, free of loud music, offering the perfect setting for reading and unwinding. Rules are kept minimal, allowing guests to feel as though they’re in a tranquil retreat. Fresh towels are provided daily at no extra cost, available for both poolside lounging and beach visits. All sun loungers, including luxurious canopy-covered ones, are free of charge. The breakfast is exceptional, featuring attentive service and delicious options—especially the noteworthy omelettes. The calming environment of the hotel truly rejuvenates you, gently relieving stress and fostering relaxation. Upon arrival and departure, guests are treated to complimentary drinks and are given access to clean towels and indoor shower facilities while awaiting transports. Accommodations are pristine, with spacious, comfortable beds, sufficient storage, top-notch toiletries, a great shower, and cozy terraces ideal for enjoying snacks and cold drinks after a day of tranquility. At the bar, service is seamless and cocktails are both superb and reasonably priced. Every afternoon, the staff generously serve complimentary snacks, allowing you to enjoy them without leaving your lounger. Evening entertainment is light, typically held twice a week, adding flavor to the calm atmosphere without being overbearing. From the moment we arrived, Adim and the entire team ensured exceptional service that lasted until we left. Having traveled extensively, I’ve never experienced such perfection in every aspect of a hotel stay before. Don’t forget your sunscreen, and take advantage of the free library while soaking in the sunshine and blissful serenity.

We recently stayed here on a Half Board basis as a British couple in our 50s. The hotel was located in a quiet area, reminiscent of Benidorm Old Town, about 150 meters from the beach. The staff were friendly overall, but a few struggled with English, leading to occasional language barriers, though we managed fine. Initially, we requested an adapted ground-floor room, but it turned out to be small, overlooked a busy side road, and had a corridor that smelled of dogs. As a result, we opted for an upgraded superior room on the top floor at an extra cost of €25 per night. The room was much bigger, featuring a super king-sized bed and offering pool and sea views, which we felt justified the cost. However, the bathroom was somewhat outdated. We were surprised by the €4.50 nightly charge to use the in-room safe, which felt unreasonable for a 4-star hotel, as similar establishments usually include this for free. Our room was cleaned daily, with the bed made and towels replaced, though the lack of privacy screens between balconies was a downside. The hotel had a peaceful atmosphere throughout, with relaxing music at the pool area. Guests represented a mix of nationalities, mostly German and Italian families and couples—we seemed to be the only British guests. While the restaurant served evening meals, they were somewhat repetitive and inconsistent, with occasional issues like undercooked chicken. Would we return? Maybe, but likely on a B&B basis due to dissatisfaction with the evening meals. Additionally, the safe charge would need to be waived.

Reflecting on a trip that me and three other mates took the other week. We stayed in the heart of Benidorm at the Apartamentos Les Dunes Centro. As a group of 4 boys we were there for the night time experience. With so many bars offering great prices it was a brilliant three nights of partying. We made time to stop at the waterpark in Benidorm which is so worth it. For only £27 for an afternoon entry pass. I would highly recommend our accommodation, the water park and Benidorm in general for a cheap getaway to party. #partytime #Ladstrip

This place is completely different from the typical Spanish small town you might imagine, with towering skyscrapers right next to golden sandy beaches, earning it the nickname "the Miami of Spain." A classic way to enjoy it is to stroll along the seaside promenade and then visit the Mediterranean Balcony to take in the sea views. After a short tram ride of about ten minutes, you’ll arrive at Villajoyosa. This town is best known for its rows of colorful houses by the sea—blue, pink, and yellow intertwined—like stepping into a fairy tale. Compared to the lively Benidorm, Villajoyosa is quieter and has more of the authentic Mediterranean small-town vibe. The biggest advantage of this route is convenience—you don’t need to rent a car, and a day trip from Alicante with a round trip is totally doable. 🍊Orange Review🍊: If Benidorm represents the energy and vacation vibe of the White Coast, then Villajoyosa is synonymous with romance and healing. Love the place been over 30 times in last 30 years It has a side for all tastes Spanish and English Fantastic beach and prom with all the facilities bars cafes shops tapas bars etc etc Fiesta week in November is also a must fantastic fireworks displays and fancy dress day Especially love the Old Town area Also trips to Altea and La Cala on the bus at a cost of only 2 euros per person each way are worth a visit
