It's just a bakery with a café, nothing unusual. Maybe the interior motif was way INSTAGRAMIC😅 We had ordered coffee and some breads which indeed taste good. If you are Asian like me you will absolutely amaze about the place but some Europeans they found this place common😅😅 and also I have observed that the staffs are unfriendly well anyway i hope that i perceived it or blundered the way i have seen it. In conclusion Bregenz, Austria was amazing "di malimtan nga kasinatian sa Yuropa"☺️🙏🏻 #austrianstyletown #bregenz #café

Beautiful scenery... great place for photo shooting! You can sit there and enjoy the movement of ducks, birds and people, they are all simply blend into a nice picture with the lake and mountain! And to add up its cozy embankment, very convenient to relax after a trip and enjoy the view of the lake. Especially at sunset. We spent 2 hours sitting beside the lake. We enjoyed the breeze with a bit of shower so i guess the month of June is Highly recommended. That's what i think..

Super great old town with historical buildings and many memorials to fallen and killed soldiers! Very well maintained and beautiful, to be recommended in any weather! Chaurrr lang I've been here in the mid of fall and winter season the place looks amazing☺️ There are some places that can be discovered without tourist guide, but it is definitely more helpful to use google map or any😁🦾 But you can certainly also explore the old town of Bregenz in the "old-fashioned" way with a city map or in the "new-fashioned" way with Google Maps.

We didn't get into the museum. For some reason it is closed and there are no messages about it anywhere. Outside, both the tower and the old town are very interesting. Worth a look. Overall, It is a beautiful place, surrounded with old streets and beautiful church. Peace is breathed in this area, the houses are very nice, some typical of the region☺️☺️ some tourist and locals said that the landmark of Bregenz were interesting with lots of exhibition about the historical development of the city.🦾🦾 #Brigenz #austrianstyletown #mytripblog

We didn't get into the museum. For some reason it is closed and there are no messages about it anywhere. Outside, both the tower and the old town are very interesting. Worth a look. Indeed a great views and interesting exhibition about Bregenz. Unfortunately no translation available. Beautiful with interesting facts about the history of Bregenz. There was also an art exhibition during our visit. Great view over the city, below is a small chapel. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties, the steps are very steep. Located in the upper town, landmark of the city, admission is okay. Nice medieval ensemble and not as hectic as in town although only a few minutes away. The symbol of Bregenz due to its location in the upper town (10 minutes' walk from the port), you have a wonderful view of the city, Lake Constance and the mountains. First a granary (1250) then a watchtower (1601) with a chapel and a striking onion dome. Today lookout tower and museum. Opens at 10am. You absolutely have to see the Martinskapelle with frescoes, which were created around 1360. They show colorful and vivid scenes from the Bible. Be sure to stroll through the streets and look at the lovingly prepared houses from several eras.

#celebratewithtrip Food is a must when I travel! Cakes and pastries are part of it too and of course coffee! We found this bakery café during our stay in Bregenz. We had our afternoon coffee and cake and it felt like home! Hamma Bakery and cafe offers baked goods that are mouth watering! It is located in the shopping center of Bregenz at Bahnhofstrasse 9. I found the place very welcoming, homely with friendly staff that made every guest comfortable. #hammabäkerundkonditorei #bregenz #voralberg #austria #lakeconstance #octobertrip #autumn

#celebratewithtrip Standing on a hill towering of the views of Bregenz and the Lake Constance is the Herz Jesu Church. Herz Jesu is a Catholic Church and is located at the old town (Altstadt) of Bregenz in Kolpingplatz 1. The church was finished built in 1906 although it was planned 10 years before. Bregenz is accessible by train either from Germany, Switzerland or Austrian side. There is a connection from Munich, Salzburg or from Zürich. We went there by car from Frankfurt and it took us 4 and a half hours (you can add another 30 minutes if there is traffic jam) to reached the city of Bregenz. #herzjesu #gothicchurch #bregenz #austria #october

📅 Itinerary Day 1: Liechtenstein Day 2: Cable Car Day 3: 🏨 Accommodation Recommendation: M selection 🍴 Restaurant Recommendation: Wirtshaus am See 📌 Useful Tips Although I stayed here mainly as a stopover on my way to Liechtenstein or Germany, the city itself is well worth staying for at least 2-3 days. There is also a fairly large casino by the lake.

On this trip, I visited Bregenz in western Austria, nestled right where Switzerland, Germany, and Austria meet! While it might not be a well-known destination for many Japanese travelers, it turned out to be an incredibly chic and artistic city that far exceeded my expectations! So, how did I end up in Bregenz in the first place? After wrapping up my time in Zermatt, Switzerland, I was scheduled to head to Salzburg. However, the travel time was quite long, so I decided to break up the journey with a one-night stopover in Bregenz! Arriving around 4:00 PM and leaving the next morning, it was a true whirlwind visit (lol). Honestly, I saw it more as a convenient transfer point and didn’t have high hopes... but it was the best decision ever! 😆 🏨 Our hotel for the stay: Grand Hotel Bregenz - MGallery Hotel Collection It’s a spacious property and, surprisingly, even has a casino on the ground floor! Once checked in, we headed straight out to explore the town! 🌊 A Chic Fusion of Lakeside Views and Art The real draw of Bregenz is undoubtedly the stunning lake and its unique artistic vibe! As you walk through the wide streets, the lake opens up before you, offering a wonderful sense of freedom. The most striking sight was the "Seebühne Bregenz"—an outdoor opera stage built right on the water! It’s a truly unique space that feels at one with the lake, offering a charm unlike any other city I’ve visited ✨ Since I only had from evening until the next morning, my time was limited. Plus, I was still a bit worn out from sightseeing in Zermatt, so I decided to skip the usual tourist traps and just take a leisurely stroll around the area. Watching the beautiful sunset dip into the lake and playing with the kids in the park behind the hotel... While jam-packed itineraries are fun, there’s something special about just slowing down like this 😊 🎰 A Memorable Trip to the Casino with Dad! While my wife watched the kids, I slipped away to the hotel casino with my father! I never imagined I’d be hitting the casino with my dad during a family vacation (lol). We ended up winning about 20,000 yen, which more than covered our dinner! Despite the short stay, between the scenery, family time, and a few unique experiences, it was a much more fulfilling day than I could have imagined! 🌟 Lower Expectations, Greater Rewards! This time, Bregenz was just a pit stop on the way to Salzburg. Yet, the beauty of the lake, the artistic streets, and the laid-back atmosphere left a deep impression on me. Honestly, I initially thought of it as "just a place to sleep," but it turned out to be a city I’m so glad I discovered! Beyond the famous landmarks, finding hidden gems through unplanned detours is really what international travel is all about 🇦🇹✨ If you’re looking for a slightly different spot for your Austrian adventure, definitely keep Bregenz on your list!

The final stop of this Austrian adventure was the capital city, Vienna! Known as the "City of Music," Vienna is world-famous for classical music and orchestras. It’s a city where you can fully soak in the essence of Europe through its historic architecture and stunning streets. ✨ After traveling through Bregenz and Salzburg, I’ve finally reached the end of my journey! Since I spent as much time as possible in Salzburg before heading over, I arrived in Vienna in the evening. After checking into the hotel, I headed straight to Belvedere Palace! 🏨 Here is the hotel where I stayed for two nights! Novotel Wien Hauptbahnhof It was close to the station, clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable! However, one thing I realized during this trip was about the location. While being near the station is convenient for moving around, staying in the city center might have been better for those late-night strolls back to the room (haha). 🌿 Day 1: The Overwhelming Presence of Belvedere Palace! My first stop was Belvedere Palace, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture! The sight of the beautiful palace and its sprawling gardens is truly overwhelming in scale. The building itself is impressive, but the harmony between the gardens and the palace is simply magnificent! Seeing it in person is so much more powerful than just looking at photos. Since I arrived late in the day, that was it for Day 1. I rested up for a full day of sightseeing the next morning! ⛪ Day 2: St. Stephen’s Cathedral and a Stroll Through Beautiful Streets! Finally, the main day of my Vienna tour! The one place you can't miss is St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the symbol of the city. Even the walk there was full of highlights! The wide streets are lined with gorgeous historic buildings, and you can see horse-drawn carriages passing by. Just walking around makes you truly feel like you're in Europe. And when St. Stephen’s Cathedral finally appeared, it was even more grand than I imagined! The towering spire and intricate details are so massive they're hard to fit into a single photo. I loved the feeling of being somewhere so extraordinary, surrounded by architecture you just don't see in Japan. ✨ 🍝 Lunch was Italian again (haha) Even though I’m in Austria, I ended up having Italian for lunch again! But honestly, the Italian food in Austria is delicious. I’ve especially fallen in love with the pasta! 📚 Like a Scene from a Fairy Tale! The Austrian National Library After lunch, I visited the Austrian National Library. This was one of the most memorable spots of the whole trip! The space, filled with countless books, felt like stepping into a movie or a fairy tale. The luxurious, historic interior and the grand space reaching up to the ceiling are breathtaking. It felt less like a library and more like being inside a work of art. If you visit Vienna, this is a must-see! ⛪ Stumbling Upon St. Peter's Church! Afterward, I wandered around the city and happened to find St. Peter's Church! Since I was there, I decided to take a look inside. Stumbling upon unexpected gems like this is the best part of traveling abroad. 😊 🍰 Enjoying Sachertorte at a Famous Cafe! I got a bit hungry while walking, so I headed to the famous Café Sacher! My goal was the "Sachertorte," Vienna's most famous dessert. I was looking forward to the authentic taste, but... to be honest, it might not have been quite what I expected (haha). I was imagining something much sweeter, so it was a bit of a surprise! Still, trying a local specialty in its hometown is a great travel memory. You never know until you try it for yourself! 🌃 The Beautiful Vienna State Opera at Night! Between souvenir shopping and exploring the city, night fell in the blink of an eye. The last stop was the Vienna State Opera! The illuminated building is stunning and has a different charm than during the day. Seeing the historic architecture glowing against the night sky is so stylish! I spent some time relaxing and taking in the view while eating ice cream nearby. 🍦 Beyond just hitting the tourist spots, these quiet moments are the real joy of a trip. 🌟 Bregenz, Salzburg, Vienna. Every city was amazing! On this trip to Austria, I visited three cities: Bregenz, Salzburg, and Vienna. Bregenz with its lake and art, Salzburg with its blend of history and music, and Vienna with its grand architecture and glamorous streets. Each had its own unique charm, and I’m so glad I visited every one of them! Since my time was limited, there are still many places I couldn't visit. That’s why I want to come back someday and see all the spots I missed! This was an incredible trip to Austria that left me feeling exactly that way. 🇦🇹✨

After leaving Bregenz, my next stop was the stunning historic city of Salzburg, Austria! Salzburg is famous for its Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it's also well-known as the birthplace of Mozart. 🎼 This was another whirlwind one-night trip... but honestly, I wish I could have stayed for two! 😂 It’s such a charming city that it makes you want to stay much longer and just take it slow. 🚆 From Bregenz to Salzburg! We left Bregenz early in the morning and arrived in Salzburg just before noon! It’s a bit of a walk from the station to the city center, but it's no problem at all since you can enjoy the beautiful streetscape along the way. ...That said, the first thing I noticed upon arrival was how hungry I was (haha). Before checking into the hotel, we grabbed burgers for lunch! We had a lot of walking planned, so we needed to fuel up properly. 🍔 🏨 The Hotel We Stayed At Hotel Andra This hotel is located very close to Mirabell Palace and Gardens. The rooms were clean and lovely! We stayed in a four-person suite, and both the space and comfort were excellent. We were very satisfied. ✨ After checking in, it was finally time to start exploring Salzburg! 🌿 First Up: Mirabell Gardens! Our first stop was Mirabell Gardens, right near the hotel. The beautifully manicured gardens and historic architecture are in perfect harmony. Just walking through made me feel so elegant. Next, we headed to what might be considered the main highlight of Salzburg sightseeing! 🏰 Breathtaking Views from Hohensalzburg Fortress! If you visit Salzburg, you absolutely have to go to Hohensalzburg Fortress! It sits atop a hill, and we took the funicular to get up there. Here are the admission prices from our trip: 💰 Admission Fees (at the time of travel) · Adults: 19.20 EUR × 6 people = 115.20 EUR (approx. ¥19,000) · Children: 7.30 EUR × 2 people = 14.60 EUR (approx. ¥2,400) · Prices include the funicular ride. It’s not exactly cheap, but it was 100% worth it! Exploring the fortress allows you to feel the weight of history, and the view of the Salzburg cityscape from the top is incredible. The sight of the beautiful buildings lined up against the surrounding lush greenery is truly wonderful! It felt like stepping into a painting, and I found myself staring at it for a long time. This is a highly recommended spot if you're visiting Salzburg! 📸 🎼 Mozart Landmarks and the Salzburg Cathedral! After enjoying the fortress, we visited spots associated with Mozart and then went to the Salzburg Cathedral. Walking through the historic streets, I felt like I understood why this place is known as the "City of Music." Afterward, we hunted for souvenirs and enjoyed some Italian food for dinner (lol). Eating Italian in Austria might seem funny, but eating what you're craving is the best part of traveling! In the evening, we sat by the river and relaxed while watching the world go by. Beyond just hitting the tourist spots, just soaking in the city's atmosphere like this is the best feeling. 😊 🎹 Organ Music at the Cathedral the Next Morning! The next morning, we went inside the Salzburg Cathedral. Hearing the organ music in such a majestic space was truly special! The historic architecture and beautiful music came together for an unforgettable experience. To wrap up the trip, we also enjoyed the local specialty dessert, "Salzburger Nockerl"! It’s a representative Salzburg dessert with a very impressive, fluffy appearance. 🍰 I really felt like I made the most of Salzburg until the very end, and it was a very satisfying stay! 🌟 One Night in Salzburg Isn't Enough! Even though our time was limited, Salzburg is packed with charms—from historic architecture and beautiful nature to music and delicious sweets. The view from Hohensalzburg Fortress and the sound of the organ in the Cathedral really left a lasting impression on me. To be honest, I wish I could have strolled through the streets a bit more leisurely! For anyone planning a trip to Austria, I highly recommend this city. 🇦🇹✨

#firsttimermistakes 📍 Place: Bregenz, Klagenfurt & Linz, Austria ✨ What it felt like: Each city had its own charm, from lakeside promenades and mountain views to historic streets and riverside walks. Learning the local habits made exploring feel much more relaxed and enjoyable. 👀 What stood out: Bregenz reminded me to check ferry destinations on Lake Constance, pack a rain jacket for fast-changing weather, and respect shared cycling paths. Klagenfurt highlighted the beauty of its lakeside setting while showing the importance of checking bus schedules, carrying some cash for smaller shops, and slowing down to enjoy local specialties. In Linz, I learned to watch for bike lanes along the Danube, check tram tickets carefully, and try regional dishes like Linzer Torte with an open mind. 💡 Exclusive tip: Download local transport apps before arriving, carry a lightweight waterproof jacket, and learn a few regional food names. These small preparations can help you avoid many common first-timer mistakes. ❤️ Personal feeling: The little local traditions are what made these Austrian cities memorable for me. Taking time to understand them turned simple sightseeing into a much richer travel experience. #FirstTimerMistakes #Austria #Bregenz #Klagenfurt #Linz #TravelTips #TripMoments #ExploreAustria #CityBreak #TravelSmart

Check in at Bregenz Festival (Seebühne), the world-class floating stage in Bregenz, Austria 🇦🇹✨ If you're planning a road trip near the border or traveling through Lindau Island, Germany, I recommend stopping by Bregenz, Austria. The city is located on the shores of Lake Constance, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and beautiful. 🌊⛰️ On our way back, we had the opportunity to stroll around Seebühne, the famous and spectacular floating theatre on the lake! The highlight here is the "stage structure in the middle of the water," which changes its design and spectacular scenery according to the opera season. During our visit, the stage was shaped like a giant shattered mirror, incredibly stunning and immersive. 💎✨ 💡 Feelings & Recommendations for Visiting: When there are no performances: You can walk in and sit in the stands. Sip on a cold drink, enjoy the lake breeze, and watch the stage up close in a very peaceful setting. The advantage of visiting during the off-season: If it's during the actual festival or performance, it will be very crowded, and you probably won't have the chance to sit and chill, enjoy the breeze, and take beautiful photos in an open area like this. It's a very worthwhile experience! Getting there & parking: I recommend driving and parking at the parking ticket machine nearby. Pay for the time you'll be staying, and it's just a short walk to the stage. Very convenient! 🚗🅿️ If you're passing through Lindau-Bregnz, don't forget to stop by and check in and capture the grandeur of this stage in the middle of the water! ❤️✨ #Bregenz #BregenzFestival #Seebühne #AustriaTravel #Austria #TravelAustria #Lindau #EuropeTravel #TravelReview
