The hotel staff were very kind, and it was great to be able to relax in the square right in front. Apparently the water from the nearby fountain is drinkable, so I tried it, but it just tasted like regular water. There's nothing else particularly special about the town, but this might be the best spot for a quiet getaway. The weather was nice around the area, but we couldn't see the upside-down Matterhorn. The lake was frozen. Other than that, it was a perfect 100. The views were great, the food was good. If you have the money, I highly recommend it.
