🇺🇸10 of the Most Quirky Roadside Photo Ops in the US😍
#overratedspots
Americans are seriously obsessed with "weird" stuff. If you're into road trips, these 10 roadside spots are totally worth the detour—some are even more famous than national parks.
📍 1. World's Largest Basket | Newark, Ohio This 7-story office building is literally shaped like a giant basket, and yep, it even has a handle.
📍 2. Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox | Bemidji, Minnesota This massive statue from 1937 is basically one of America's most iconic folk tales.
📍 3. World's Largest Bison | Jamestown, North Dakota This 26-foot-tall concrete bison has been watching over the town for decades.
📍 4. Prada Marfa | Valentine, Texas A "Prada boutique" just pops up in the middle of nowhere? It's actually a permanent art installation and one of Texas's most famous photo spots.
📍 5. World's Largest Fireplug | Beaumont, Texas This 24-foot-tall fireplug is painted like a Dalmatian, so it really catches your eye.
📍 6. Giant Town Casey | Casey, Illinois This place is filled with oversized everyday stuff: wind chimes, rocking chairs, mailboxes, pencils... perfect for snapping some pics.
📍 7. Fremont Troll Troll | Seattle, Washington Tucked under a bridge, there's this giant concrete troll holding an actual Volkswagen Beetle.
📍 8. Corn Palace | Mitchell, South Dakota The whole building's exterior gets covered in colorful corn and grain murals every year.
📍 9. Cabazon Dinosaurs | Cabazon, California Two massive dinosaurs stand by the road, and you can actually go inside one of them.
📍 10. Big Duck | Flanders, New York This duck-shaped building from 1931 has become one of Long Island's most iconic landmarks.
Some spots don't really have a reason to exist, but that's exactly why they become the most memorable parts of your American road trip.

A Relaxing and Enjoyable Experience
It was a very enjoyable experience. You have access to a space with a straw bed, toilet, and shower. We shared one bath together, which we found much cozier than using two separate baths. It's an ideal spot to completely unwind and soak in all the beauty of Prague before continuing to explore the city.

Fun and Relaxing Beer Spa Experience in Prague
We were a group of five guys on a weekend trip in Prague, and the Beer Spa was a fun and unique way to relax in a laid-back environment while enjoying beer. The staff was professional, and the surroundings were pleasant. In the room we were assigned, each jacuzzi accommodated two people. Towels were provided, and there was the option to take a shower at the end.

Relaxing and Unique Beer Spa Experience
This place has multiple locations, so make sure you know which one you’re heading to when booking. We visited the site in the Old Town district, not far from the clocktower, and it was easy to find.
We booked a 2-tub room for just the two of us for two hours, which I think was the perfect amount of time. Any less (like the 1-hour option), and you might feel rushed, especially with the time it takes to change, etc. While the tubs are roomy enough for two people, it would have felt a bit cramped—so having one each was ideal. I went with my mom, and though neither of us are big beer drinkers, we found it too unique an experience to pass up while in Prague!
The staff were incredibly accommodating—since we arrived early, they let us start ahead of schedule, which was much appreciated. They were polite, friendly, and checked in once halfway through, but otherwise left us to enjoy the experience.
We both felt very relaxed afterward. The tub was a lovely temperature, though the yeasty smell took a little getting used to. Despite how it looked, the straw bed for relaxing afterward was surprisingly comfortable. They also provided some traditional beer bread to try; I enjoyed the plain one but wasn’t a huge fan of the kind with the lard-based spread. The unlimited draft beer was a fantastic touch!
Although this was the most expensive activity we did in Prague, I think it was well worth it for what you get. It was more affordable than I expected for such a unique and memorable experience. We’re really glad we did it, and honestly, we’d probably go again. It was truly a great experience!

Excellent Winter Spa Recommendation in Czechia
This is an excellent suggestion for a spa experience in the Czech Republic, especially during the cold winter months. Self-serve beer on tap, beer bread to snack on, and a truly great whirlpool bathtub infused with malt and hops. Unfortunately, we only booked for an hour, but we still thoroughly indulged ourselves 🥰

Relaxation and Fun at BeerSpa Prague
We recently checked out BeerSpa Prague and can’t recommend it enough! We soaked in a cozy tub filled with hops, malt, and brewer’s yeast—which, by the way, is fantastic for your skin. Plus, there was a private beer tap right next to the tub. We opted for the room with 4 tubs, a massive straw bed, ice bath, and sauna. The space can fit eight people, though I’d suggest keeping it to four for a more personal experience. Having your own tub makes it extra special! A unique and fun way to wrap up our trip!

Fantastic and Relaxing Experience
An amazing experience! It was such great fun, and we felt very at ease while having a truly enjoyable time! We loved the unlimited beer, though we would have preferred more beer bread. All in all, I would definitely recommend this unique adventure :)

Fantastic Visit
From the moment we entered to the time we exited, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made the experience soothing. We were uncertain about what to expect, but we departed feeling extremely relaxed, and after trying the ice shower, felt revitalized. I'd suggest it to everyone. We made reservations ahead of time.
