2026 Selva Travel Guide: must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transport & travel experiences (updated in August)

We recently began our Mallorcan family adventure at Finca Son Arnau, and it was an incredible start. Susan and Alex were exemplary hosts, and their property is absolutely beautiful, with tasteful decor throughout. Our room was spacious, featuring lovely high ceilings. The rooftop pool offered a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. The honesty bar was well-stocked, perfect for a relaxing evening G&T on the terrace. Breakfast was generous, with a varied and delicious menu. A 10-minute walk took us to the charming town of Selva, which has some fantastic restaurants. Even the one minor issue we experienced was so well-handled that it hardly mattered. Highly recommended, and we will surely return.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel recently and had an amazing experience. The room was stunning, with fantastic air conditioning that was a lifesaver in the intense July heat. We loved the pool area—peaceful and with exceptionally comfy sun loungers. We even had the pool to ourselves at times, which was a real treat. Breakfast was incredible; we tried a variety of dishes each day, and every single one was delicious. Alex provided excellent restaurant recommendations, and Stacey was so warm and welcoming at breakfast every morning. The hotel’s location is on the outskirts of Selva village, where there are several good options for lunch and dinner. It’s around a 10-minute uphill walk to the village, but the downhill walk back makes up for it! Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we would gladly return in the future.

We stayed at the Finca Binibona for 10 days as a family. It was delightful—very relaxing, quiet, and each evening featured an excellent three-course menu. The breakfast was equally outstanding, offering freshly prepared egg dishes and a variety of fresh fruits. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We highly recommend Finca Binibona and definitely plan to return.

Absolutely wonderful hotel Parc Natural Binibona, offering complete tranquility for relaxation and escaping daily stress. It’s well-located in the middle of the island, featuring excellent service, well-equipped rooms, a pool with spacious grassy areas accompanied by cozy Balinese beds, and impeccable care and cleanliness. Definitely a destination to return to and immerse yourself in its magical charm surrounded by Mallorca's Tramuntana.

A lovely retreat out of time, it's a charming spot that's calm and restful despite the crowds. The service staff is cheerful, professional, and very friendly. However, a downside was the presence of gnats in the evening, which were quite unpleasant in the room. While the hotel operates within agrotourism, the number of gnats on the sheets and us felt overly disruptive. Additionally, the room attendant was noisy and seemed intent on waking guests early in the morning, which is a bit much for a vacation. Overall, though, it's a place we'd consider revisiting. Room 19. Pros: Service staff and the location. Cons: Early noise from housekeeping and bothersome gnats.

Finca Son Arnau is highly recommended. The rooms are incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the necessary comforts. The beds are very comfortable, and the impressive bathroom has everything you could need. The hotel itself exudes charm, with beautiful artwork throughout, a cozy library/reading nook, and even an atmospheric wine cellar. The breakfast is delicious and caters to all tastes. Additionally, the hotel staff deserves special mention for their extraordinary friendliness, attentiveness, and helpfulness, making you feel instantly welcome. The honesty bar, where you can help yourself to soft drinks and cocktails, adds to the relaxed and easygoing atmosphere. The infinity pool offers breathtaking views of the surroundings, making it the perfect spot for complete relaxation. The hotel is located in a wonderfully quiet area, far from mass tourism, yet serves as an ideal base to explore the entire island before returning to your peaceful paradise. Without hesitation, we would choose this hotel again. P.S. One minor suggestion: adding a small fridge to the rooms would be convenient for keeping the provided water bottles cool.

Lovely little finca just south of Pollença, situated right next to a national park with an amazing winding road up the mountain. The hotel features just 10 rooms, a pool, bikes for guests, and a private sauna with a plunge pool. What truly stood out was the peaceful atmosphere and the incredible staff. They fulfilled all our needs effortlessly. Special thanks to F&B manager Johanna for the excellent drinks and the nightly changing set menu. Thank you, Can Beneit team—great job!

We had a very pleasant stay; the place is simply stunning, and the tranquility was greatly appreciated. The breakfasts and dinners were truly delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive and kind. We highly recommend this location for couples seeking a peaceful haven.

Our favorite spot to stay in Mallorca. Nestled in the tranquil foothills of the Tramuntana, it boasts stunning views from the pool and room terraces. Both breakfasts and suppers are delightful, with an honesty bar available all day. With only a small number of guests, this charming and serene hotel is perfect for immediate relaxation.

We had an amazing stay here. The hotel is run by a lovely couple who made us feel more like family than guests right from the start. Every detail was spot on. The food was fantastic, the rooms were stunning, and the pool was incredible — but the standout feature was the exceptional hospitality. The service surpassed any large chain hotel we’ve ever experienced. They go above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable and cared for. What moved us the most was their genuine care for their guests. Susan even went out of her way to drive to Inca for a prescription I needed. That level of warmth and personal attention is so rare these days. If you're looking for exceptional service, wonderful accommodations, and people who truly care, this is the place. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

An incredible experience. Although we live in Mallorca, spending a day in such a beautiful place is something I highly recommend. If you're looking to disconnect, this is an excellent spot. The views are stunning, and the facilities are very well-maintained. The suite was spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast was very complete, and the added bonus of Balinese beds scattered throughout the garden and pool area enhances the value of this place. We'll return in autumn or spring to enjoy hikes or bike routes.

A gorgeous finca with lovely views, very friendly staff, and a superb pool with plenty of loungers and beds. The dinner was absolutely delicious. The rooms were spacious, beautiful, and very clean. We will definitely return!
