Located in the Xiling Gorge section, this adorable "🐶" is currently a popular spot. It's opposite the Jiuwanxi Bridge in Zigui, and the host will specifically point it out. P6, P7: Goddess Stream. A relatively niche attraction that is easily accessible only by taking a Three Gorges cruise. The scenery on both sides is stunning, though the return trip includes persistent sales pitches from local guides. P8: Wu Gorge. "Apart from the clouds of Wushan, there are no other clouds." Wu Gorge is my favorite among the Three Gorges. P9: Qutang Gorge. The Kui Gate, featured on the 10-yuan RMB note, is a must-see! P10: The first gate of Baidi City. Before entering, climb a short distance to the left and take a photo through the circular gate to avoid the crowds. P11: After passing through the gate in P10, you can buy an ice cream and take a photo with the iconic main gate. P12, P13: On the way down from Baidi City, there are pavilions and stone walls by the river, which are great spots for photos with Kui Gate in the background. P14, P15: Before returning to the dock, don't miss Yidou Gate. Use passing pedestrians to create a time-lapse effect by slowing down the shutter speed. Walking down from the gate to the dock, you can also take great photos through the gate. P16: Fengdu Ghost City. Visiting here feels like crossing the "Gate of Hell," symbolizing a smooth journey in life thereafter. P17, P18: The floating bridge in front of Fengdu Dock is another excellent spot for photos with the ship. P19: Night view of Fuling District, capturing the city lights as they first come on. The first underwater museum I ever saw was the Three Gorges Museum in Zigui County, Yichang City. It perfectly recreates the appearance of Guizhou County before the relocation, which is now forever submerged at the bottom of the Yangtze River. Its creative presentation is visually stunning. The old objects reminded me of visiting my grandmother's house as a child, with the winter hearth room full of cured meat, the kettle hanging on the iron hook, sometimes roasting potatoes and cooking sweet potatoes, the pigsty under the stilted building, the large terraced fields under the house, and the golden wheat fields. It was beautiful. I was shocked when I saw an 18.8-meter-long dragon boat, and it was the first time I had seen a dragon boat up close. Visiting museums is the best way to teach children about history. The entire museum is grand and magnificent. I took photos outside in the sun. Across from the museum is Muyu Island and the Three Gorges Dam. What impressed me most was the migration wall. Thousands of names of Three Gorges migrants are engraved on the wall. They gave up their homes and left their hometowns for the sake of national construction. Each stroke embodies their dedication and resilience. However, there is also unspeakable bitterness behind the migration. The museum displays many old objects that tell the story of the migrants' past lives. A worn-out wooden box and a rusty sickle carry their longing for their hometown. When I walked to the model of the Three Gorges Hydropower Station, I was amazed by its grandeur. It is not only a power generation facility but also a project that benefits the people. It prevents floods and droughts, facilitates shipping and irrigation, and improves the lives of people in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. After visiting the Three Gorges Museum, I gained a deeper understanding of the significance of the Three Gorges Dam. It is a testament to the unity and perseverance of the Chinese people and a symbol of the selfless dedication and national construction of the Three Gorges migrants. On the way back, I drove the ID6X through the green mountains and rivers. The car's excellent range and intelligent configuration allowed me to enjoy the journey and appreciate the magnificent scenery of the Three Gorges. It's hard to leave one's homeland, but they had to.
