Getting There - In the midst of Amsterdam Central Attractions - a system of canal The three main canals in Amsterdam were dug during the 19th century, during the Dutch Golden Age. The canal ring area Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan were listed as UNESCO Heritage site in 2010. A must-do thing is to get on a canal cruise to travel through these canals and explore all the heritage buildings surroi this area. It’s interesting to see some of the slanted buildings and the way the Dutch re-inforced them. Once you are more familiar with navigating around these canals, you can try to explore the neighborhood on foot and of course on bike. #amsterdam
