\\Points// Located within one of the world's largest calderas, Aso Station is a popular stop on the Kyushu sightseeing train "Asoboy" and the cruise train "Seven Stars" (which may not stop at certain routes), making it an essential stop for any Aso sightseeing trip! While Aso has plenty to see year-round, the best season is the upcoming autumn! At the end of September, the leaves were just beginning to change color, but from now on, you can enjoy the spectacular autumn foliage just by driving! There's a rental car company at Aso Station, so you might be able to rent a car. (Don't forget to make a reservation.) Even if you're not a fan of driving, there are buses that run to tourist spots, so be sure to check the schedule and enjoy!
