Bangkok Must-Visit: The Prime Spot for the Great Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit

🌈 As a rising landmark and hot spot in Bangkok, Wat Traimit is most famous online for its photo spot strategies. The Great Buddha must be quite content watching us hopping around it all day, considering that all the Buddha statues in Thailand have smiling faces. 📍 I didn't make a special effort to look for the spot. Exiting the MRT at 'Tha Phra' station (BL01), I walked into the alley across the street. Turning left at the T-junction next to the temple, I followed the alley straight to the end. In just a few steps, I could see the famous photo spot and the Great Buddha, ready for a photo shoot. Further ahead is a local residence, which has now turned into a simple coffee shop 😂. They just set up a few tables, and if you're thick-skinned enough, you can pass through without buying anything to take photos by the river. Occasionally, boats pass by, which is quite interesting. The drinks are quite basic (seems like they're all priced at 50B), and honestly, there's nothing commendable about the taste. The Thai milk tea tasted cheap and overly sweet, I suspect it's made from a powder mix. I also ordered a lemon ice or something, and it wasn't as good as the slushies from 7-11, but sitting by the river is still very relaxing.
