When people think of Bangkok, they usually think of shopping, street food and temples. But one experience I would highly recommend adding to your itinerary is a night cruise along the Chao Phraya River! 🌃 ☀️ Thailand is known for its hot weather, but Bangkok at night is a different story. The cool river breeze, sparkling city lights and relaxing atmosphere make the whole experience so enjoyable. And the highlight? Seeing Bangkok’s iconic landmarks illuminated at night, especially Wat Arun, which looks absolutely stunning from the river! 😍 The view alone makes the cruise worthwhile. 🍽️ Go for a higher-end cruise if your budget allows! Most dinner cruises include a buffet, and I personally chose the Luxury White Cruise. It was a really enjoyable experience, with fresh seafood such as mussels and sashimi, alongside a variety of hot dishes. 🎶 The music and live performances added so much energy to the evening. You can enjoy the night views, listen to the music and soak in the atmosphere without feeling rushed. It strikes a nice balance between lively entertainment and a relaxing river journey. 💰 Price: Usually under RM150 (around ฿1,200), depending on the cruise package and booking date. For the overall experience, I think it’s pretty affordable! 📍 My tip: Choose ICONSIAM as your departure point. You can explore the shopping mall, grab a bite or do some shopping before boarding. It’s a great way to make the most of your evening! You can also choose indoor seating if you’re worried about the wind or rain, although I’d personally recommend enjoying the open deck when the weather is nice. ⏰ The cruise lasts around 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, food and entertainment. ✨ Overall, this has become one of my favourite experiences in Bangkok!
