In just over 10 days, traveling to Western Sichuan in March is something you absolutely can't miss

March in Western Sichuan, I recommend everyone not to miss the pear blossoms in Jinchuan, a 3-day trip is feasible. Itinerary Day 1: Chengdu - Danba - Zhonglu Tibetan Village (recommended to stay inside the village) Day 2: Zhonglu Tibetan Village - Jiaju Tibetan Village - Jinchuan (stay in Jinchuan, the whole journey is filled with pear blossoms) Day 3: Jinchuan - Ma'erkang - Chengdu Attractions Zhonglu Tibetan Village: Located in Niexia Township, Danba County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, it's less famous than Jiaju but I find it more pristine. The village is full of Tibetan friends who are very friendly and will greet you actively. You can drive into the village, but be careful as there are many bends. Pear blossoms, Tibetan villages, and highland barley fields are all super photogenic, waiting for a sunrise🌅sunset🌄 Jinchuan Pear Blossoms: The blooming period is from mid-March to the end of March, lasting just half a month. From Zhonglu Tibetan Village to Jinchuan, you will see pear blossoms in the river valley along the way. Of course, the most famous spot is in Jinchuan's 'Fairy Pack' (as shown in picture two). You must get there early in the morning, drive up, and there's a special viewing platform. Wait for the sun to rise, and capture it along with the smoke from the local Tibetans' fires, it's absolutely fantastic! Notes Hotels: In Zhonglu Tibetan Village, homestays are the main accommodations with varying prices. Everyone can choose according to their preferences. Hotels in Jinchuan are more expensive, so book in advance. Altitude: There are no places along the entire route that cause altitude sickness discomfort, with the highest altitude being around 2200 meters. Altitude sickness usually occurs above 3000 meters. Clothing: Remember, friends, when traveling to Western Sichuan, no matter what month you go, definitely bring a down jacket. The weather in Western Sichuan changes a lot, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is significant. Bringing it is the right choice. For those who like to take photos, bring your beautiful dresses. Road conditions for self-driving: The entire route is in good condition, even for sedans, with mostly highways➕asphalt roads.
