1️⃣Hotel Style The hotel features a pastoral country villa style, with the exterior reminiscent of a rural landscape complete with rice fields and water wheels, while the interior boasts a modern new Chinese courtyard style that incorporates the 'home culture' characteristics of Daoxiang. 2️⃣Room Experience The hotel has a total of 65 rooms, including courtyard rooms, garden rooms, and family rooms suitable for parents and children. The rooms are mainly designed in a new Chinese style, with clean lines and simple color schemes, exuding an atmosphere of elegance and grace. The room I stayed in was a Xianyu Superior Twin Room with a courtyard, approximately 40 square meters in size, offering a comfortable spatial experience. The room is equipped with a complete set of tea utensils, allowing guests to read and drink tea either inside the room or in the small courtyard at the entrance. The hotel advocates butler-style service, and welcome fruits were prepared in the room upon check-in. However, there is room for improvement in the overall service process, as the information sharing between reservation staff, front desk personnel, and receptionists is not very smooth. 3️⃣Public Area Experience Each floor features an open-air design, giving the overall impression of walking through a villa district. The lobby has a tall glass curtain wall design, which allows for excellent natural lighting, and the interior art pieces are quite stylish. Outside the 1F lobby, there is a canopy area and a restaurant. The canopy area is a cozy spot for brewing tea by the stove, especially enjoyable when the sun is out at noon. The restaurant serves breakfast from 7 am to 10 am, offering a rich variety of sets that are quite tasty. Unfortunately, the hotel's chef team was on collective leave, so I was unable to experience the hotel's signature soup pot. 4️⃣Outdoor Experience Brewing tea by the stove in the canopy area while basking in the sun and sipping tea is a leisurely pleasure for the people of Chengdu. The hotel is surrounded by vast rice fields, which, due to the cold winter, do not display the lush green and golden hues of the rice stalks seen in the summer and autumn seasons. However, it is expected that the scenery in summer and autumn would be quite pleasant.
