Inside the cave, there are various spectacular stalactites that have taken millions of years to form, earning it the nickname 'King of Caves' The ticket price for the scenic area is 75, and the uphill cable car is 70, taking about 20 minutes to ascend the mountain. The cable car is open-air, so those who are afraid of heights, beware. The route is designed to take visitors up and then through the cave without retracing their steps, which is well planned. After getting off the cable car, you have to walk almost a kilometer to reach the cave entrance. Those who want to experience it can take the ride; the scenery in southern Anhui is quite nice. If you don't want to take the cable car, you can also walk up the mountain, chatting and laughing with a few friends, and you'll get there quickly. Dawang Cave is huge, and it takes about two hours to stroll around leisurely. It's still a bit cold inside the cave during Labor Day, so remember to bring an extra coat. Not far after entering, there's a drifting kayak you can play with, 40 per person, the kind you paddle by hand. When you're on it, water droplets from the stalactites above may fall on you. The staff say you can directly drift to the bottom of the cave, but it's actually quite short. The cave is cool and a bit damp and slippery, so it's recommended to wear non-slip shoes and be careful not to fall.
