Without going far for a hike, Longwang Village in Beibei offers a leisurely short loop

The quickest way to get a taste of relaxation is probably to hike up the mountain, where forests, streams, wild waterfalls, farmhouses, geese, and wildflowers can heal you in minutes. In addition to playing in the water and camping, hiking in Longwang Village is also great, and I really like this hidden gem of a village. 🟢 Basic Route Information The short loop is about 10 kilometers long and takes 3-4 hours. You can refer to the 'Longwang Village' route on Liangbu Road for specific directions. There are many routes of varying lengths, and following them should prevent you from getting lost. ❗️It is recommended to start at the foot of the mountain and walk clockwise from the left side against the stream. We walked the other way, and the first long stretch was mostly a long uphill through the woods, which was a bit tiring. It might be easier to walk downhill on that side. 📮Transportation Self-driving is the most convenient. Currently, the road is under construction and there is no public transport. You can navigate to 'Longwang Village Shanshui Fish' for parking. There is a parking lot, and you can also park on the roadside for free 🆓 (just don't block the road). The high-speed train station 'Shuitu Station' next to the village seems to be open, so those who find the high-speed train convenient can give it a try 😄 ⚠️Tips ▫️Most of the route is rural stone paths plus dirt roads. Wear non-slip, lightweight, and comfortable shoes. Be mindful of sun protection on sunny days. ▫️At the entrance of the village, after parking, there are small shops, canteens, supply and marketing cooperatives, and farmhouse stir-fries. The taste is passable. In summer, there are more snack stalls along the stream, so consider bringing some food and water as needed. ▫️There are a few farmhouses with 🐶 dogs along the way.
