Motorcycle Tour of the Western Sichuan Grand Loop | Reverse Luyaxiang Line

Our group arrived at Shangri-La Town not for the internationally renowned Daocheng Yading, but for the Luyaxiang Line, known as the 'Second Bingchacha.' This is my third visit to Shangri-La Town. Except for the first time when I visited the scenic area, I did not plan to visit the scenic area on the second and this trip. The Luyaxiang Line, as the name suggests, is a route connecting Lugu Lake and Yading. However, navigation software cannot directly display this route; it must be linked together through several waypoints to form the route. 🏞【Destination Guide】 🧳Preparation Before Departure: 1️⃣ For high-altitude travel, adequate rest, reasonable diet, and a relaxed mood are essential to prevent altitude sickness. 2️⃣ Check the condition of the vehicle (car/motorcycle) before departure. It is not by the lake, so the price is relatively affordable and it is relatively quiet. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, but parking is a bit tight. 🌟Must-Visit Spots: 1️⃣ On the Luyaxiang Line, every spot is worth checking in. 2️⃣ Lugu Lake, located at the border of Yanyuan County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and Ninglang County, Yunnan Province, is jointly governed by Sichuan and Yunnan. The east of the lake is Lugu Lake Town in Yanyuan County (formerly Zuosuo District), and the west of the lake is Yongning Township in Ninglang County. The surrounding area of Lugu Lake is mainly inhabited by the Mosuo, Yi, and Pumi ethnic groups, with seven ethnic groups including the Mongolian living along the shore. In Lugu Lake, there is also a unique flower called 'Water Buttercup.' From May to October each year, the lake surface blooms with small white flowers with three snow-white transparent petals surrounding a yellow stamen. A self-driving tour around the lake, about 70Km, is highly recommended. 💗Travel Experience: The beautiful scenery along the Luyaxiang Line attracted me to visit here for the second time.
