In the morning we stopped at the port of Fukuoka. The weather was very good. The morning light illumined the sea and the port, and it was quiet. Fukuoka City is located in the northern part of Kyushu, Japan, an important city in the west of Fukuoka Prefecture. It is also the seat of the prefectural office of Fukuoka Prefecture and is one of the designated cities in the government. It is the largest city in the Kyushu region. Many government agencies and company branches are located here, and together with the surrounding areas form the Fukuoka metropolitan area.
