Bali Gou

The Bali Gou Scenic Area in Xinxiang is located in Shangbali Town, Huixian City, Henan Province, at the southern foot of the Taihang Mountains, at the junction of Henan and Shanxi provinces, with an altitude difference of 300 to 1700 meters. The scenic area is divided into two parts, one is the Bali Gou Waterfall, and the other is the Tianjie Mountain Scenic Area. At the Bali Gou Waterfall, you can enjoy the winding and beautiful scenery of the Taihang Mountains, and you can also go to the Bali Gou, which is known as the soul of the Taihang Mountains, with mountains and rivers accompanying you all the way, with a pool every ten steps and a waterfall every hundred steps. In addition, the Bali Gou Waterfall is named after the Bali Gou, and because the mouth of the waterfall is like a dragon's mouth, it is also called the Dragon's Mouth Waterfall. The waterfall has a drop of 157 meters, about 20 meters wide in the rainy season, and about 5 meters wide usually, with water flowing all year round, majestic and varied, magnificent, and is known as the first waterfall in North China. In the Tianjie Mountain Scenic Area, you can take a scenic bus directly to Tianjie Mountain. Walking on the cliff, you can see the sea of clouds rolling beside you, giving you the illusion of walking in a fairyland. In addition, there are two roads to choose from under Tianjie Mountain after getting off the bus. One is the flat road, where you can choose to take a shuttle bus for 10 yuan, and the elevator up and down for 70. The other is the newly built path, which goes through the parking lot from the bottom of the ditch, where you can see small bridges and flowing water, winding paths leading to secluded spots, and a unique flavor. There are many waterfalls and pools at the bottom of the ditch, with a pool every five steps and a waterfall every ten steps.
