2023 newly opened Istanbul Peninsula Hotel, so fragrant!

Peninsula_Istanbul_Extra Large Luxury Bosphorus View Balcony Room: This is the tenth Peninsula hotel I have stayed in, and currently the one that embodies the highest level of Peninsula hotels worldwide (let's see if it will still be the highest in the second half of this year). It opened on Valentine's Day this year, and the morale and well-trained staff of the Istanbul Peninsula Hotel are evident. The airport pick-up comes with a dedicated exit and fast clearance service, and since it is still Ramadan today, the entry process was fast. I don't know much about cars, but this Mercedes feels more luxurious than the Maybach at the Astana Regency, and for some reason, this hotel doesn't seem to have the option of a Rolls-Royce. From getting off the car to checking in the room, there were about seven or eight welcoming staff along the way, which surprised me a little. I was upgraded to the Grand Deluxe Bosphorus View with Balcony facing the old palace. Yes, you can probably guess from the name that this Peninsula hotel follows the old tradition of Peninsula hotels, with extremely detailed room types! The advantage of detailed room types is obvious, that is, the possibility of guests feeling cheated by website photos is greatly reduced, which is conducive to maintaining the hotel's reputation, and it also makes it difficult for the hotel to be taken advantage of by various programs such as FHR. Judging from the handwriting, this welcome card was really handwritten by the general manager himself. When I first stayed at the Peninsula Shanghai, I was also shocked by the general manager's personally handwritten welcome card. Later, when I went to the Peninsula Shanghai again, I found that this program was no longer available... The welcome cake in the room tasted good, and the champagne was naturally the Peninsula's joint Deutz (I don't know how their cooperation model is, it seems that the Peninsula does not fully own Deutz). As for the technology in the room, needless to say, it is the Peninsula's killer feature. Room service dining still reflects the Peninsula's high standards. Unlike many luxury hotels, the Peninsula's site selection logic is straightforward, targeting the metropolis that serves both business and entertainment (Manila was actually quite competitive back then). So far, there are no resorts, and based on this logic, it is safe to say that the Peninsula's choice of Istanbul is not surprising at all. Located in the true heart of Istanbul, the Peninsula's pricing is actually very reasonable, with room prices only slightly ahead of the local first-tier hotels, but with a significant increase in price starting from the panoramic suites, which sets it apart from all other hotels. Compared to the Istanbul Oriental Mandarin, where we stayed on the same day last year, the Peninsula has a better view from the suite and is more conveniently located, so the price is almost twice that of the Oriental Mandarin.
