Jiaxing Nanhu Tiandi

Jiaxing Nanhu Tiandi is located in the lakeside area of Nanhu District, Jiaxing City, adjacent to the site of the "First National Congress of the Communist Party of China", with rich natural landscapes and historical and cultural landscapes. There are many historical and cultural protection buildings, symbolizing the early Chinese national capital, the earliest industrial buildings such as silk spinning factories and warehouses in modern times, early kindergartens and Nanhu Academy, etc., which are important clues to the city's cultural context. After years of urban development and multiple rounds of planning and construction, it has become the most important area for organic renewal in the city center of Jiaxing City. On the basis of respecting the urban texture of the site and retaining the original appearance, the project takes the protection and reconstruction of historical buildings as the core, and creates an experiential open commercial block that integrates art taste, fashion trends, and tourism and leisure, giving the city's historical and cultural public space new vitality. The project plans the "First Nanhu Waterfront Line" and the "Good Life Line for Citizens" two north-south routes, integrating culture and history into modern urban commerce and leisure tourism scenes, creating vivid spatial memory nodes, paying tribute to history, and carrying forward the future. Jiaxing Nanhu Tiandi is composed of four groups: "Yuanhu Lane", "Jiajuan Impression", "Nanhu Academy", and "Nanyan New Scenery", integrating historical heritage and locality into the modern architectural system, creating a leisurely pioneering living space.
