Tibet | One of the three holy lakes, Yamdrok Lake

I've been to Yamdrok Lake three times, and today was the most perfect. Beautiful scenery needs good weather to bless it, and it's only perfect when the time and place are right. ❤️Recommended reason: Yamdrok Lake, along with Namtso and Manasarovar, is known as one of the three holy lakes of Tibet. Yamdrok Lake is a typical plateau barrier lake, with an irregular shape, many branches, and a winding and twisting shoreline, which is why there are many viewing platforms around Yamdrok Lake, each presenting a different beauty of the lake. 🌟Highlight feature: Surrounded by perennial snow-capped mountains and ice peaks, the lake, snow peaks, and blue sky blend into one. 🌟Highlight feature: Yamdrok Lake's blue changes with the varying light, producing different colors of water, light blue, dark blue, peacock blue; the water is always blue, yet never the same shade of blue.
