Here's a piece of advice for everyone visiting Xiaoqikong

During holidays, it's very crowded. It takes about 30 minutes by bus from the station to Xiaoqikong (you can choose to use Didi or take the direct bus to the scenic area). You usually arrive at the East Gate, and it's really essential to take a bus from the East Gate to the West Gate before starting your tour. Otherwise, you'll end up exhausted like me after just walking the first attraction (from Qikong Bridge to Duanqiao Waterfall, 1.8km) 😭. However, to get to Ximen, you must transfer at some stations, as the scenic shuttle bus does not go directly from the East Gate to the West Gate! Overall, it's worth the visit.
