Taibai Building, originally named Zhexian Building, is located at No. 1 Tangxian Street, Macaishi Town, Yushan District, Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province, located at the southern foot of Cuiluo Mountain. It was built during the Yuanhe period of the Tang Dynasty (806-820), and has always been known as "a building that stores the moon and the sky", and it is known as the "three buildings and one pavilion" along the Yangtze River together with Yueyang Tower in Hunan, Yellow Crane Tower in Hubei, and Tengwang Pavilion in Jiangxi. Taibai Building is a three-story ancient building with flying eaves and wooden structure. The main building is 18 meters high and covers an area of 578 square meters. It is a three-story two-entry building. There is a Li Bai Temple behind the building, and there are courtyards on both sides. On March 5, 2013, Taibai Building was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
