The InterContinental Phuket is a place of contrasting beauty, with one side boasting azure blue and the other pure white

Its unique architectural style makes it a perfect spot for Instagram and hotel lounging, with almost no other facilities nearby, situated on a hillside. The hotel is divided by a road into a mountain side and a sea side, connected by the hotel's own passage under the road. The room soundproofing is not great, and one night the party from the Thai brothers and sisters next door was really loud, possibly because the rooms were interconnected. The basic room type I booked seemed to have been upgraded to a pool view. The amenities are from the Thai brand Thann, and both the tea and coffee are good. I really liked the **l Echo Wall provided, but it would be a disaster if the room soundproofing was poor. The breakfast options are OK, but some items are too salty for my taste. On the first evening, I ordered pizza and dessert at the bar by the sea, without trying the highly recommended jaras, leaving a regret for next time. Staying here, there are not many other dining options within walking distance, so you mainly eat at the hotel. The swimming pool is divided into two parts, with the mountain side pools located on either side of the lobby, but due to daily rain➕floods, only one side of the pool was open, and I didn't get the chance to experience it. On the sea side, there is a pool next to the restaurant, right by the beach.
