Sichuan Pingshan Danxia Mountain Grotto Temple

The Danxia Cave Cliff Carvings and Stone Inscriptions are located in Xiaolong Village, Longhua Town, Pingshan County, built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The Grotto Temple consists of a cliff carving and thirteen grottoes, oriented from southwest to northeast. The cliff carving is located on a cliff on the southwest of the whole, which is a deep relief of a Buddhist welcoming Buddha standing statue, with a kasaya and a snail bun, making a welcoming seal, with a total height of more than 30 meters. It is now the world's tallest standing Buddha, that is, the Big Buddha of Baxian Mountain. It is now a cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province.
