Pu'er

Meizi Lake. The climate in Pu'er is much more comfortable than in Xishuangbanna, and it only takes 15 minutes to reach Meizi Lake by electric bike from the city center. There are many newly built and distinctive homestays around Meizi Lake, which are affordable and well-equipped. Meizi Lake is 32 kilometers long; it was originally a reservoir, but later the government invested in building a 4-kilometer lakeside plank road. The lakeside scenery is extremely beautiful, thus attracting many tourists. To reach the Meizi Lake plank road from the city, you need to navigate to the Kaiyuan Hotel. There is a special forest path outside the hotel that leads there, but you can also directly cross the small road inside the hotel to get there.
