Transportation to the island is only available by ferry, and tickets can be purchased in advance on the official WeChat account (Meizhou Island Ferry), with varying prices as shown in figure two. Since we are special forces and daring with time, we chose a business car for four people at 120 yuan, which can take us to 6 scenic spots on the island and finally to the pier. ( We also went to the farmers' market as recommended online, and ordered Putian braised noodles, spicy beef, lychee pork, and oyster pancake. The taste is similar to that of Southern Fujian, not much difference. His lychee pork is more like fried crispy meat, and the spicy beef is like beef soup. Route Morning: Mazu Ancestral Temple → Rainbow Road → Meiyu Tidal Sound Afternoon: Farmers' Market (lunch) → Mazu Peace Lane → Goose Tail Divine Geological Park → Longdong Listening to the Tides → Feiji Cave → Lianchi Ao Beach → Pier Mazu Ancestral Temple: After disembarking at the pier, it's an 800-meter walk or a quick bus ride. You can buy a pack of incense at the entrance. There are many places to worship, with the Tianhou Palace being a highlight. Finally, go up to the Mazu stone sculpture and take the elevator down the mountain. The view from the top is beautiful, overlooking Meizhou Island. Meiyu Tidal Sound: On the way to Meiyu Tidal Sound, you will pass Rainbow Road, where you can stop for photos. The most beautiful plank road at Meiyu Tidal Sound has been closed off, as it has been eroded by the sea and is not accessible, only allowing for distant photos. Mazu Peace Lane: It's actually the Mazu Film and TV City, where the TV series starring Liu Tao was filmed. When we visited, half of it was closed, and we could only tour half of it. It also has a beach and a park to stroll around. At noon, you can lie down on the beach chairs there, which is very comfortable.
