Strolling through Xiamen University, a campus like a garden

Xiamen University has always been the dream school, not only because it is a top university, but also because of its incredibly beautiful campus environment. The main campus, also known as the Siming campus, is located on Xiamen Island, in the city center, truly a peaceful haven in the midst of hustle and bustle. Inside the campus, one can see the city's core landmark, the Twin Towers, and the surrounding areas are famous tourist attractions: Nanputuo Temple, Zhongshan Road, Shapowei, Baicheng Beach, Gulangyu Island, Botanical Garden... The campus is surrounded by green trees and lush grass, embraced by a large expanse of greenery are the unique Jiahe-style architectural teaching buildings. The Jiahe style architecture reflects the integration of Chinese and Western architectural cultures, with unique architectural forms and spatial characteristics: Minnan-style roofs, Western-style bodies, Southeast Asian architectural mosaics, fine work, and lines; fully reflecting Mr. Chen Jiageng's status as a leader of the overseas Chinese community. The campus's Qunxian Building, Yingshui Building, and Song'en Building, set against the backdrop of blue skies, white clouds, green trees, and grass, are truly so beautiful that one is reluctant to leave.
