Playland Park

#newyorktrip This is an old school amusement park built in the 1920's that has a lot to offer for families. There are rides, games and an arcade. It's much more manageable than most amusement parks, as it's not very big and has charm that most places like it do not. The park is most appealing to teenagers and kids so it's a great way to spend a day with family. It costs $20 to park but there are ways to access the park via public transportation. Entrance to the park also allows you to walk along the boardwalk right by the water all the way to Rye Town Park. Playland has its own beach and pool as well, but this may cost extra. Overall, it was a great visit.
